Description:Lockheed Martin Archbald is a full-service Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) facility that provides design, manufacturing, engineering, & field service support for both domestic and international customers. In addition to being the home for the Precision Guided Systems and Navy Electronic Systems product lines, more than 500 employees manufacture assemblies for many other Lockheed Martin products. The facility specializes in electronic assemblies and metal fabrication for programs such as Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS), Apache Fire Control, and Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3). For over 70 years we have successfully produced safety-critical systems for nuclear submarines, aircraft carriers, & commercial nuclear power plants while also producing air-to-ground weapon and training systems for the US Military and international allied customers. Ours is a legacy to be proud of! Lockheed Martin is now seeking a System Integration / Test Engineer for a position in Archbald, PA.



What You Will Be Doing

Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.

Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.

Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.

Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.

Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.

Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.

Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with emphasis in electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology or experience/combined education, with at least 2 years of professional experience.
- Experience working with Nuclear Instrumentation and Control (I&C) equipment.
- Experience developing formal test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Active or Current DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
-Thorough understanding of Nuclear plant interfaces.
- Experience with the preparation and presentation of test briefing material.
-Experience in a role with responsibility to work with others in completing program objectives.
- Ability to facilitate and coordinate test activities while maintaining schedule and cost.
- Ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders to meet desired testing requirements and test activities.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
