Systems Lead Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular-Long Term Assignment Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: We are looking for a Systems Leader who is experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of US AFRICOM’s mission objectives. CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Windows Systems Administrator. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US AFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS. Responsibilities: The System Lead will manage experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments and: •Focuse on policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (1 year or less) OR may manage project of significant size and impact to the company •Problems faced are difficult to moderately complex •Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures OR may be are recognized subject matter expert The Systems Lead will oversee the planning and execution of important policies implementation of strategic initiatives and execution of day-to-day deliverables which in include: + Establish or work to achieve, team objectives, operational plans with measurable contribution towards the achievement of results of the job function or completion of a project. + Focus is on short-term operational plans (e.g., less than 1 year). + Provides measurable input to new products, processes or standards in operational plans that will have some impact on the achievement of overall function results The System Lead will ensure the supports the command with: + Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and related components. + Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments. + Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff. + Implement and enforce security protocols to protect data and systems. + Optimize system performance and resource utilization through regular maintenance. Qualifications : The Systems Leader is required to be command expert knowledge and be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Team. Hold an Active Secret Clearance - Current US Citizen TESA Approval Required: Bachelors and 3 years experience, or Associates Degree and 7 years of experience or HS Diploma and 11 years of experience in the field of endeavor. No Waiver. Strong experience with Windows server administration and related technologies. Computing environment certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Azure101, etc). Security+ or other IAT Level 2 certification and higher. Experience with scripting in PowerShell.
