Systems Monitoring Engineering
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Systems Monitoring Engineering team at Marsh McLennan. This is a hybrid role that requires a minimum of three days per week in the office. This position is critical to optimizing and maintaining the company's monitoring and observability tools to ensure full visibility into the health of our technologies.We will count on you to:Support and optimize the configuration and maintenance of enterprise monitoring and observability toolsets (Datadog, BigPanda, Splunk, LogicMonitor, and others).Assist with the definition and implementation of various integrations to support consolidated alerting across various technology domains.Regularly collaborate with colleagues to provide insights on leveraging monitoring and performance data through dashboards, reports, and other mechanisms.Identify and assist with the implementation of automation opportunities for simplified administration, issue remediation, and automated deployment of capabilities.What you need to have:Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.2+ years of experience with System and Application Monitoring, Application Performance Monitoring (APM), and tools such as Datadog, Splunk, LogicMonitor, or comparable tools.2 or more years of Information Technology (IT) experience, preferably in a mid- to large-sized global organization.What makes you stand out:Experience with scripting technologies such as Python and PowerShell.Familiarity with ServiceNow Incident, Configuration, Problem, and Change modules.Experience utilizing tools like Jira or Azure DevOps in an agile work model.Why join our team:We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.
