HybridAs a Systems Production Engineer, Cyber Specialist you will join our Engineering System Production Team within our Connected Aviation Solutions Business Unit. This role would align to all Airports suite of products and will lead cyber security design, analysis, and maintenance of our comprehensive system infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to identify process/procedures and security gaps to provide solutions.
The Systems Production Engineer, Cyber Specialist will require consistent scanning and identifying of everything security. In addition to system production and security, you will also act as a Quality Assurance Cyber CIS L1 Testing Specialist.
What You Will Do:
You will work onsite at least 3 days a week in our Tulsa OK office. You will implement and manage various Microsoft updates, Application updates, hardware updates, CVE’s and CIS L1 best practices.You will lead in building and configuring server systems from the ground up in accordance with System Production process, procedures, and standards for all Airport suite of productsYou will plan and perform security upgrades and/or fixes of Collins Airports product suites in airports globally.You will provide high-level factory support to our global deployment teams, first-level site administrators, and second-level factory support personnel on all security mattersYou will conduct in-depth system requirements analysis to understand business needs and technical requirementsYou will remotely diagnose and troubleshoot complex software applications across diverse enterprise environmentsYou will develop technical documentation such as bulletins, whitepapers, diagrams, installation guides, etcYou will stay abreast of the latest security best practices and effective patch management strategiesYou will identify and publish security standards and deliveryYou will maintain a flexible working schedule to stay connected to other regional and global company locations or customers.You will travel internationally as required 5-10%Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experiencePrior experience and understanding of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, SQL Express, Elasticsearch, Mongo, and Redis.Prior experience in Microsoft server operating systems, Hyper-Visor technologies (VMWare / MS Hyper-V) and Enterprise Linux (RHEL & Ubuntu)Prior experience with security softwareU.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations requiredQualifications We Prefer:
Demonstrated ability to translate technical verbiage into simple terms for explanatory purposes.Prior experience working in a matrixed team environment locally and globallyDemonstrated ability to source solutions to customer requirements or issuesFamiliarity of the TCP/IP and networking protocols (ex. The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
