Job Description

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform primary administration support for Broadcom DX NetOps Performance Management, plus the various monitoring systems and automated services, to remediate issues with the applications/services or problems with assets in monitoring.Partner with support teams to ensure the proper monitoring of systems.Perform vendor engagement activities to work in collaboration with vendor support to resolve application issues.Lead in assigned projects and work efforts.Complete ticket assigned work.Perform vulnerability remediationsCreate technical documentation of solutions.Manage and maintain OS level patching schedules.Prepare applications and systems for OS level patching and perform the application and system functionality validations after patches have been applied.Train team members, NOC resources, support team members and engineers on monitoring solutions and services.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong knowledge of monitoring solutions for network, compute, and application monitoring.Significant experience and knowledge supporting DX NetOps Performance ManagementSupport experience and knowledge for DX NFA is a bonusBroad knowledge of networking and computing technologies and platforms.Solid grasp of ITSM concepts, framework, and information technology operations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient project management abilities.Broad knowledge of new technologies and industry trendsBasic programming skills and experience with Service Now and OpenText NA (formerly HPNA) are a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Efficient organizational skills.Positive and optimistic outlook with a strong work ethic
