Kemper has an immediate need for a Systems Software Developer. As a Systems Software Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, production, and maintenance of Kemper’s Finance applications and integrations used across the Enterprise. Successful members of our team have the initiative, desire, and ability to learn new technologies and implement business solutions in all aspects of the system development life cycle. Position Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage Control-M job schedules and workflows.Support Workday and or Adaptive integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, and other tools.Monitor and troubleshoot job failures, ensuring efficient system operations.Provide technical support and training to end-users.Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.Conduct system audits and ensure data integrity and security.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.Qualifications
Proficiency in Control-M job scheduling and batch processing.Strong technical skills in (Java, Oracle, T-SQL, Python, and PowerShell).Knowledge or experience with supporting Workday Finance and Adaptive Planning, or willing to learn.Experience with Workday report writing, including matrix and composite reports is advantageous.Competence in creating Inbound and Outbound EIB integrations, including the use of XSLT transformations is a plus.10 or more years of related technical experienceStrong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.Motivated and eager to learn and support new applications as needed.Bachelors degree or equivalent related work experience.This is a hybrid position and will work in the local office 2 days per week.Kemper is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
