As a Systems Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing, engineering, and maintaining the core components of our next-generation identity management environment. Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-wide security, identity, and access management (IAM) software applications in various languages (PERL, JAVA, HTML)

Help to drive the software development process for tools like:

User account/credential management - Requesting user accounts - Managing LDAP group membership - Administrative account management for support staff - Back-end applications and APIs needed for automated processes within these applications.

Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality and reliable software.

Continuously monitor and maintain the performance and stability of the applications or systems.

Shibboleth SSO - Grouper group management - LDAP servers - Duo multi-factor authentication - Sailpoint IIQ.

Gather and provide input on functional specifications and requirements:

Translate business needs into technical specifications and contribute to the overall system design. Incorporate user feedback into the development process to create user-centric IAM services. Collaborate with support teams and engineering experts to create secure and customer-centric solutions.

Contribute to the design and implementation of next-generation IAM services:

Participate in the planning and execution of projects related to the design and implementation of advanced IAM services. Collaborate with the team to innovate and develop solutions that drive the evolution of IAM technologies.

Support business user questions, and tier 2/3 issues, regarding applications, systems errors and availability, the account lifecycle, authentication, and application authorization.

Develop and maintain technical documentation (Google Drive, Gitlab, ServiceNow Knowledge).

Work as a collaborator with other staff members to further our “one team” approach to problem solving.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proficiency in a language such as Java, C++, or Python.

Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.

A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
