Job Description:
The Systems Solutions Engineer will design complex Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system solutions that satisfy specific customer requirements. The systems involve L3Harris and vendor equipment, and typically include IP networks, microwave links, wireless data, RF antenna subsystems, 911 dispatch and/or other custom designed subsystems.
Essential Functions:
Craft high quality proposal text and drawings that clearly and effectively describe the technical solutions being offeredParticipate in discussions and presentations with customers, consultants, vendors and other L3Harris personnel as necessary to advance projectsFormally present technical solutions and product information to customers, professional organizations, and consultant groups for the designs developed through the proposal processCoordinate technical transition of design to implementation system engineer after contract is awardedPerform site visits and analyze existing customer technical assetsTravel 10%, Sometimes required working extended hoursQualifications:
Bachelor's with 6 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 10 years prior experience or Graduate Degree with 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills:

For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area and New York City, the salary range for this role is $102,000 - $190,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
