Job Summary:

The Systems Support Analyst is primarily responsible for providing technical system support to internal business users in accordance with EB Admin Service Level Agreements.  Provide system-level support of multi-user operating systems, hardware and software tools, including configuration, maintenance, and support of these systems.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Facilitate timely, open and clear communications regarding – system issues, enhancements, meetings, announcements and posted documentation. Data management and reporting, including, but not limited to queries, data loading, and data manipulation. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems, including client FTP sites. Select among authorized procedures and seek assistance when guidelines are inadequate, significant deviations are proposed, or when unanticipated problems arise. Identify redundant support processes and develop tools for automation. Maintain current documentation. Document system problems and resolutions for future reference; document Support processes and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:

Technology Skills. Basic Microsoft SQL Query knowledge, Windows Server, IIS, and Networking. Communication Skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written. Organizational Skills. Must be able to multitask in a challenging, rapidly changing environment requiring constant decision making. Bachelor’s degree, any field or equivalent combination of experience and education. Continuing Education: Keep current on all relevant trends in employee benefits and application development through conferences, magazines, books and internet research. Willing to pursue exams with the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA). Important Qualities: Compatibility with Milliman Professionals, Effective dealing with Clients, Sensitive to Quality, Communication Skills, Flexibility, and Detail Oriented.
