Systems/Survivability Engineer - Senior Level
+ Location: Quantico, VA
+ Security Clearance: Active Clearance or Eligible to Obtain - U.S. citizenship required
+ Salary: $90,000 - $150,000 Depending on Experience and Education
+ Travel: 15%

Position Summary
SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Systems Engineer with Survivability expertise in direct support of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Program Manager - Medium Heavy Tactical Vehicles (PM MHTV) and associated portfolio of vehicle and trailer systems to support our Washington Area Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
+ Providing Survivability, Lethality, Armor, and ballistic testing expertise across the portfolio of vehicles and trailers.
+ Supporting conduct of SE Technical Reviews for system-level and subsystem-level designs and ECPs.
+ Providing survivability and engineering analysis; including armor protection, materials, signature reduction, failure modes, occupant protection, vulnerability reduction, and threat analysis.
+ Support systems integration, observation of multiple integrations on platforms, and support in development of Letters of Integration.
+ Prepare and update technical documentation as outlined in accordance with the Defense Acquisition Guidebook and USMC SE policy and requirements., including, but not limited to, the SEP, TEMP, Live Fire Strategy, System Specifications, ICDs, RTMs, Functional Decompositions.
+ Review technical data in accordance with ASME Y14.100 Standards as well as MIL-STD-31000 and provide technical assessments of vendor and Government test data.
+ Support technical data management and configuration management per established processes.
+ Work in a collaborative and team environment, and interface Government functional leads, platform teams and lead engineers.
Minimum Qualifications of Systems/Survivability Engineer - Senior Level
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Concentration and 5+ years of relevant experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.
+ Strong experience in survivability and live fire test and evalution of military / ground vehicles.
+ Strong experience in Systems Engineering.
+ Mechanical/automotive engineering capability and experience is preferred.
+ Knowledge/background in military systems; ground vehicle experience preferred.
+ Strong experience in engineering analysis, Technical Data Package (TDP) review.
+ Ability to work independently and develop/review technical documentation with high quality and technical accuracy.
+ Strong communication skills, ability to work on dynamic team, and directly support Government Project Leads and Engineers.
+ Other Desired Skills: CAD development/manipulation (Solidworks / Creo); systems integration; ; human factors engineering; operational safety; and configuration management.
+ Work in a collaborative and team environment, and interface Government functional leads, platform teams and lead engineers.
