Actalent is looking for a full-time Systems Technician to support our client, a leading DoD organization, onsite in Dahlgren, VA.

We are seeking a skilled Systems Technician to support a team on the Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH) and integration of systems of CVNs. This onsite role will be based in Dahlgren, VA, supporting a dedicated team of engineers, technicians, and support personnel.

ResponsibilitiesSupport a team of engineers, technicians, and support personnel.Conduct ship checks to document existing compartment arrangements and system configurations.Develop and review Contract Guidance Drawings (CGDs).Perform detailed technical reviews of Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs), Installation Control Drawings (ICDs), Ship Change Documents (SCDs), and Authorization Work Packages (AWPs).Evaluate and provide resolutions and recommendations.Essential SkillsProficiency with Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs), Installation Control Drawings (ICDs), Ship Change Documents (SCDs), and Authorization Work Packages (AWPs).6-8+ years of experience in Command and Control, Weapons Systems, Electronic Warfare, Navigation, Communication, or Air Traffic Control (ATC).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with technical reviews of weapon systems.Work Environment

The role is onsite with hybrid flexibility once onboarded and up to speed. You will have the opportunity to work on non-AEGIS ships, including amphibious submersibles and aircraft carriers. This position offers a chance to contribute to longstanding work with the Navy, ensuring our nation's warfighters continue to stay safe and on track with overhauls.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $50.48/hr.
