Performs the acts of dealing all table games in a proficient manner, according to current policies and procedures, while maintaining a courteous and friendly manner to our guests.
Principal Duties & ResponsibilitiesKnows and abides by Hard Rocks policies, procedures, internal controls and courtesy guidelines.
Performs all duties in accordance with state gaming regulations.
Maintains & continually updates knowledge of regulations set forth by the Mississippi Gaming Commission and the Mississippi State Tax Commission regarding table game operations.
Conducts, protects and controls table games in accordance with Hard Rock policies.
Pays or collects bets in an accurate manner in accordance with Hard Rock rules.
Notifies table game supervisor when handling guest transactions, exchanging currency for gaming chips and cashing in.
Advises table game supervisor or above of any disputes or arguments that may arise during the game among players/dealers.
Promotes safety awareness to minimize work related injuries.
Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.
Maintains knowledge of property information & memorabilia.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities RequiredHigh school diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain a Mississippi Gaming badge (work permit).
Must project a professional and positive image.
High energy level.
Good judgment and common sense.
Ability to deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written).
Must be able to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with all Hard Rockers and guests.
Ability to understand and promulgate written memos, instructions, regulations.
Basic knowledge of mathematics.
TrainingAll employees are required to complete mandatory compliance training within thirty (30) days of hire date, then annually thereafter. Training marked with an asterisk below must be completed prior to reporting to their respective work area. The below courses are required for this position:
