Seeking a talented Tableau and Oracle Analytics Server Administrator Consultant. The person in this role works closely with users to understand, install, configure, and making recommendations on best practices on OAS 7.x and Tableau Server or similar analytic tool experience a strong plus.
 

Requirements:

Develop and document technical architecture, system designs, performance test results, and other technical aspects of OBIEE and Tableau implementations Provide infrastructure and platform sizing for projects, sites including hardware and software requirements Administer and support a multi-tier Tableau infrastructure create and manage groups, workbooks and projects, database views, data sources and data connections Configure Tableau server security as required (Single sign-on (SSO), Kerberos, Active Directory (AD), SAML, SSL) Support Tableau platform administration including Infrastructure builds, patching, upgrades and maintenance Leverage expertise with Tableau repository and TSM commands Hands of API development experience to assist in development and deployment of custom Tableau extensions Monitor server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/performance tuning/server management of tableau server environment Experience with Tableau Catalog, Tableau migration utility and Tableau server monitoring Hands on experience with OBIEE to Oracle Analytics Server upgrade Hands on experience with BI Publisher reports and performance tuning of reports Performance tuning of Oracle Analytics Server Hands on experience with Oracle Analytics Server SSL and windows native authentication Power BI experience is preferred Cognos reporting tool experience is preferred Experience with Snowflake data warehouse and AWS Work with teams to monitor, tune and optimize performance (system and application) Create best practice guides and work with development teams to implement them Advanced knowledge of shell scripting Experience in managing integrations with surrounding applications/systems Thorough knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience in working with release teams

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, science, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of related experience in the use of Tableau Data Visualization software or equivalent Experience with TFS, Github and automation of tasks with REST API Experience with scripting languages and concepts to automate manual processes Experience with scripting languages and concepts to automate manual processes Tableau and Oracle Analytics Server tool experience preferred Power BI and Cognos experience is a plus
