Tactical Buyer with English (Remote)

_The_ **_Tactical Buyer_** _plays an essential role within the procurement team, by managing the day-to-day purchasing of goods and services._
_This position focuses on the effective sourcing of goods and services, balancing quality with cost-effectiveness. The Tactical Buyer will liaise with internal departments and suppliers to ensure prompt delivery and efficient inventory management._
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Purchasing and Order Management** :
+ Process purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently for indirect and direct categories;
+ Assist in sourcing materials and services, adhering to procurement policies and procedures.
**Supplier Management** :
+ Support in maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring timely and quality delivery of goods/services;
+ Help monitor supplier performance and escalate issues related to delivery or quality to senior team members.
**Cost Management** :
+ Help identify cost-saving opportunities through market research and supplier negotiations;
+ Keep track of pricing trends and collaborate on opportunities to improve procurement efficiency.
**Compliance and Record Keeping** :
+ Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contract terms and legal requirements;
+ Maintain accurate documentation of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications in the procurement system.
**The ideal candidate should have:**
+ Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
+ English language skills at a B2 or C1 proficiency level;
+ Strong ability to analyze spending data, identify trends, and recommend cost-saving initiatives;
+ A proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and contract management;
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
+ The capability to resolve procurement issues swiftly and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency under pressure.
