We are currently hiring for a dynamic and experienced Tactical Data Link (TDL) Analyst. Clearance:Active DoD Secret Clearance Work Schedule:On-site Monday-Friday with <10% CONUS travel. Role Overview: The Tactical Data Link (TDL) Analyst will conduct test Planning, Preparation, Execution, Analysis, and Reporting (PPEAR) for test events in a lab or exercise environment and provide technical or subject matter expertise input as required during any of these phases. They will configure, connect, and prepare all systems, devices, and test tools to support the test execution based on the Test Plan, and be responsible for running these systems. The TDL Analyst will capture, log, and analyze all data collected during the test events and identify any data loss or data issues during the event, especially pertaining to MIL-STD compliance. They are responsible for conducting root cause analysis, capturing all test issues, and supporting the Test and Evaluation Specialist with post-test analysis and reporting. The TDL Analysts may be divided into areas of focus or expertise (i.e. VMF Analyst, Link 16 Analyst, or XML Analyst), based on the systems or standards under test or development. TDL Analysts will support the C4I Interoperability and Integration Engineer and C4I Interoperability and Integration Specialist with analyzing current MIL-STDs, Joint Operating Procedures, and system specifications for proposed changes, updates, or to validate the current accuracy. Additionally, the TDL Analysts will support the analysis, research, and development of new or modernized TDL message schemas relevant to their area(s) of expertise. General Skillset + Experience with Microsoft Office + Verbal and written communication skills + Ability to work both collaboratively and individually + Critical Thinking Skills + Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed Specific Skillset + Conduct test planning, preparation, execution, analysis, and reporting (PPEAR) for test events in lab or exercise environments. + Provide technical or subject matter expertise during all test phases. + Configure, connect, and prepare systems, devices, and test tools to support test execution. + Operate and manage test systems during execution. + Capture, log, and analyze data collected during test events. + Identify and assess data loss or issues, particularly regarding MIL-STD compliance. + Perform root cause analysis and document test issues. + Support the Test and Evaluation Specialist with post-test analysis and reporting. + Specialize in areas such as VMF, Link 16, or XML analysis based on systems or standards under test. + Assist C4I Interoperability and Integration Engineers and Specialists in analyzing MIL-STDs, Joint Operating Procedures, and system specifications. + Support research and development of new or modernized TDL message schemas within their expertise.
