A Kforce client located in Grand Rapids, MI is looking to add a Tactical Procurement Consultant to their team. Responsibilities include: * Tactical Procurement Consultant will improve material availability * Identify improvement opportunities to improve supplier OTD, reduce LT, reduce inventory, etc. * Accountable to department KPIs * Work with global SIOP team to develop forecast for inbound materials * Carry out risk mitigation plans to avoid production shortages in conjunction with procurement teams * Monitor and expedite costs * Improve utilization of SAP and other standard business tools within the tactical organization * As a Tactical Procurement Consultant, you will make sure quality policy and objectives are being upheld in line with company policies for inbound materials; Leverage factory quality resources, supplier development teams to improve key quality matrix as needed * Work safely and adhere to Compliance Policy
