What will I be doing?
As a Tailor, you are responsible for altering staff uniforms and repairing guest items to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Tailor will also be required to liaise with laundry suppliers and ensure a uniform deposit system is in place. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\n\nCheck uniforms for cleanliness and condition, carrying out minor repair work, if required\nAlter uniforms to fit team members where required\nEnsure support is provided to the laundry function when required\nComplete wash cycles, folding of linen and correct storage\nRepair guests items as required\nProvide valet service to guests\nLiaise with laundry suppliers and dry cleaners on the cleaning of uniforms\nAssist new staff with uniforms, ensuring correct paperwork in place\nEnsure uniform deposit system in place with Finance\nEnsure outgoing uniform is controlled, including new and current team members\nCarry out uniform stock takes as requested\nEnsure par stocks are maintained\nEnsure soiled and damaged linen is stored in soiled bags and disposed of correctly\nMaintain linen room and uniform store\nReport maintenance and hazard issues\nComply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation\n
