RemoteRTX BBN Technologies seeks a proactive, organized, results-driven candidate to fill the role of TAK Ops Lead in our Intelligent Software and Systems business unit. TAK (the Team Awareness Kit / Tactical Assault Kit) is a situational awareness system that runs on mobile devices with a server backend and is deployed and in use by many Government and civilian agencies. This role will involve significant interaction with technical development and research staff, customers at Government funding agencies, and end users (military and civilian) of our technology.
The ideal candidate will have experience in situational awareness; experience with mobile platforms, unmanned platforms, and networks; leading teams of technical staff; integrating and deploying technology; and experience working with end users of mobile situational awareness technology.
This position is full time, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Remote candidates are acceptable.
What You Will Do:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead small teams of developers and software engineers on projects to create, integrate, demonstrate, and deploy technology important to end users.Work with customers to identify requirements for new functionality and features and design the solutions to meet the customers’ needs.Demonstrate BBN’s technology to potential customers, end users, decision makers, and stakeholders.Identify new customers and lead the development of proposals or other business development resulting in funded research and development contracts or commercial sales.Integrate BBN’s technologies into customers’ systems, processes, and platforms to provide solutions that help in their missions and operations.Develop new or enhanced technical solutions for contracts and to meet customers’ needs.The position will require travel to BBN, RTX, teammates’, and customers’ sites for meetings, business-related activities, and exercises.Qualifications You Must HaveM.S. or equivalent in computer science and 10 years of experience.Experience with the Team Awareness Kit / Tactical Assault Kit (TAK).Experience leading small teams of technical staff.Experience in technical development, integration, and deployment of technology.US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance is required.Willingness to travel.Qualifications We Prefer - Familiar with all, Expert in some

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
