Position Type: Paid Internship, 50%-60%

About the Internship 

Are you a passionate communicator looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced shared services environment within a major global pharmaceutical company? 
Do you want to develop your skills and knowledge in website design, video production, and engaging storytelling? 
Would you like to manage your own communication projects and have the freedom to experiment with the latest trends in internal comms, including video and podcasts? 

We're excited to offer an internship opportunity for students to join our Takeda Business Solutions team as a Takeda Business Solutions Communications Intern! 
As a member of the Takeda Business Solutions (TBS) team, you’ll have the chance to work alongside our experienced Communications Lead and get a glimpse into the world of leadership communication during an exciting time of transition—supporting various tasks and projects along the way. 

 

What you will be doing here 

You will support our TBS Communications Lead, focusing on leadership communication and internal communications to ensure a well-informed TBS and stakeholder audience. You’ll also help roll out new communication formats like vlogs and podcast series: 

Maintain and update the editorial schedule; coordinate interview guests and contributors for vlogs and podcasts 

Support website updates and redesign project, with a focus on intuitive navigation and clear visualization of complex topics 

Develop video and vlog concepts from idea to final production, including editing, publishing, and promotion 

Manage and grow Viva Engage channel to generate interest, engagement, and interaction 

 

Qualifications 

University student in Marketing, PR, Communications, Journalism, or a recent graduate 

Commitment for a minimum of 6 months (could be more) 

Ideally, practical skills in video editing tools (e.g., CapCut) 

 A sharp eye for engaging stories and the ability to craft content that inspires and connects with audiences 

Creative and open-minded, with a willingness to experiment  

 Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to stylistic detail, and a good sense of website aesthetics 

Good writing/Editing/Copy skills, the ability to take raw copy and draft compelling stories/narratives.
