Job Description

We are excited to offer an incredible opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our dynamic team at Minor Hotels in our vibrant Brisbane CBD Office. 

In this pivotal role, you will provide expert recruitment support and counsel to a portfolio of properties across Australasia, drawing on your stakeholder management skills, recruitment expertise, and strategic insight to deliver an exceptional recruitment journey for our candidates. You will make a significant contribution to our People and Culture team, all while being part of a dynamic and collaborative team, committed to making a meaningful impact on our organisation’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Advising and supporting hiring managers across multiple properties, providing strategic recruitment counsel tailored to specific needs and rolesCrafting and posting compelling job advertisements to attract top talent, ensuring alignment with brand and role requirementsLeading candidate shortlisting, phone screenings, and interviews with a focus on identifying high-quality candidates while maintaining a high level of professionalism and efficiencyOffering expert guidance on salary and employment conditions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and organisational policiesConducting thorough reference checks and assessments to ensure the best fit for the organisation’s needsCollaborating closely with Hiring Managers to refine recruitment strategies, providing insight into market trends, talent pools, and recruitment best practicesManaging end-to-end recruitment processes, from initial candidate engagement to offer negotiation, ensuring a smooth and exceptional candidate experienceMaintaining and optimising the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and real-time reporting capabilities

QualificationsA minimum of 4 years’ experience in either agency or internal recruitment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality resultsStrong understanding of recruitment best practices, attraction methods, and market trends, with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders on effective talent acquisition strategiesExceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and candidates, ensuring alignment with organisational goalsDemonstrated experience in managing complex recruitment processes, from candidate engagement to offer negotiation, with a focus on delivering a seamless candidate experienceStrong planning and organisational abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure, fast-paced environmentA proactive attitude, with a passion for continuous learning and adapting to evolving business needsThe ability to work autonomously while fostering a collaborative team environmentA qualification in Human Resources or relevant field (preferred but not essential)
