Talent Acquisition Business Partner

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner position supports our People Acquisition team as part of the People Office (HR) within Ankura Business Services, our internal firm’s services function. This role is pivotal to developing and executing recruiting efforts in the EMEA and APAC regions as part of our rapidly growing organisation.

Our global People Office (HR) practice is a strategic partner to our six business groups and provides support and services to our leaders and colleagues across all our markets spanning four continents. About the Role

As a Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you’ll work closely with practice leaders and business groups to meet diverse hiring needs through strategic, inclusive, and innovative recruitment processes. Operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you’ll play a key role in helping Ankura achieve its ambitious growth plans across EMEA and APAC.

You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead, focusing on vacancies at Senior Director level and below across the EMEA and APAC regions. This role reports to the Talent Acquisition Lead for EMEA & APAC and works within a regional team of four Recruiters:

One focusing on partner-level recruitment.

Two based in India, managing varied hiring portfolios.

You will need to navigate multiple time zones, manage high-volume hiring across geographies, and thrive in a scaling business.

You will working closely with our Global Mobility Manager, People Advisory, People Operations, Total Rewards, and Learning and Development teams.

Collaborate with hiring managers and business leaders across practices to deeply understand talent needs and deliver innovative and inclusive recruitment strategies.

Demonstrate Integrity by ensuring a fair, transparent, and structured recruitment process that provides an outstanding experience for candidates and hiring teams.

Strive for Quality in every aspect of the recruitment life cycle, from creating compelling job descriptions to conducting structured interviews and closing top-tier talent.

Innovate by leveraging creative sourcing methods and continuously refining recruitment processes to adapt to the needs of a high-growth, scaling organisation.

Foster Diversity and Inclusion by using best practices to attract, hire, and retain a workforce that reflects the diverse markets we operate in.

Own the full recruitment life cycle, from initial outreach to closing, for positions at Senior Director level and below across EMEA and APAC.

Be accountable for delivering the regional talent plan, prioritising tasks effectively and removing roadblocks as they arise.

Regularly track and report pipeline, recruitment metrics, and performance data to key stakeholders.

Build meaningful relationships with candidates, ensuring Ankura is represented as an employer of choice in the market.

Create and nurture a talent ecosystem by proactively engaging and nurturing high-potential candidates for future opportunities.

Drive operational excellence by maintaining data integrity in Workday (ATS) and other systems, enabling accurate reporting and continuous improvement.

Follow regional visa process requirements in collaboration with the Global Mobility Manager to facilitate the relocation of both internal and external candidates.

Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, offering market insights, competitive intelligence, and tailored hiring strategies to support Ankura’s global goals.

Tightly manage the multi-stage interview process, ensuring structured and bias-free decision-making aligned with Ankura’s commitment to quality and fairness.

Requirements

Proven ability to influence and achieve goals by partnering across a matrixed organisation with business leaders, HR teams, and external partners.

Extensive end-to-end in-house recruitment experience gained in fast-paced environments, ideally in a Big 4 or boutique consulting firm.

Expertise in direct sourcing methods, including identifying, engaging, and closing passive candidates in varied geographies.

Experience recruiting across multiple regions in EMEA and APAC, particularly in markets such as China, Australia, or the Middle East.

Knowledge of competency-based interviewing and the value of structured recruitment processes to improve decision-making quality.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences across regions and time zones.

Exceptional attention to detail, operational excellence, and ability to prioritise across multiple stakeholders and candidate pools.

Proficiency in leveraging ATS systems (Workday experience is a plus).
