Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Summary:

Supporting a group of designated Recruiters the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative and recruiting support to the talent acquisition function under minimal supervision.


Reporting to  Manager Talent Acquisition Operations and in partnership with Recruiters the New Hire Coordinator will be responsible for managing the onboarding process for all new hires.

 

Responsibilities:

Recruiting:


- Assist recruiters with updating job descriptions and coordinating job posts

- Coordinate interviews and contact applicants as needed

- May have the opportunity to participate in recruitment activities which include screenings resumes conducting phone screens and attending career fairs

- Creates and provides reports and summaries as needed

- Collaborates with the team and the TA Leadership on continuous improvement and value-added processes and projects


Onboarding:


- Processes all new hires and communicate to new hire next steps for pre-boarding.

- Coordinates employee health visits and new hire orientation and obtains all necessary documentation and HR-related forms

- Responds to inquiries regarding the onboarding process from candidates hiring managers recruiters and new hires

- Coordinates orientation scheduling for new hires

- Understands and applies the policies procedures regulations and statutes associated with new hire reporting

- Other duties as assigned including but not limited to special projects such as branding vendor relationships reporting and university relations

 

Other information:

QUALIFICATIONS:


- College degree with prior Human Resources Coordinator experience preferred
- Detail-oriented flexible and a team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-service orientation
- Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of tasks and requests from multiple sources
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases preferred
- Strong computer skills including MS Office Word and Excel


EXPERIENCE:


Two to three years progressively more responsible related experience in one or more sections of human resources demonstrating familiarity with human resources services and policies at the system and affiliate level.
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


No significant physical effort required.
