Location: 425 Paul Road, Rochester, NY 14624 (On-site)Reports to: Director of Talent Acquisition
Position Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team. This individual will assist with the daily operations of Talent Acquisition by performing a variety of administrative tasks related to recruitment, compliance, and onboarding. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on compliance, record-keeping, and supporting recruitment activities while working closely with the Talent Acquisition team.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Ensure compliance with OPWDD Background Check requirements for new staff, including Fingerprinting, MHL, SEL, SCR, and Metrodata.
+ Maintain accurate and detailed compliance records and reports in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
+ Conduct quarterly audits of organizational documentation to ensure adherence to OPWDD standards and regulatory requirements.
+ Post and manage job openings and hiring event advertisements.
+ Support the Talent Acquisition team during special hiring events, including open interviews, job fairs, and recruitment activities.
+ Facilitate job offers for internal hires.
+ Track and report key recruitment and onboarding metrics.
+ Maintain and update employee records in the ATS and HRIS to ensure data accuracy.
+ Complete SCR background checks for new hires.
+ Coordinate site interviews with hiring managers.
+ Update the weekly vacancy report and distribute it to the recruiting team.
+ Assist with recertification site audits, providing documentation as needed.
+ Research and recommend new hiring events to the Director of Talent Acquisition.
+ Update and maintain job descriptions.
+ Maintain confidential employee information with professionalism, ensuring compliance with privacy standards.
+ Communicate obstacles or challenges to the Director of Talent Acquisition.
+ Provide support to Onboarding Specialists, Recruiting team members, and the Director of Talent Acquisition as needed.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Human Services, or related field preferred. High school diploma or equivalent with two years of related experience also acceptable.
+ 2 years of experience in OPWDD compliance or regulatory affairs is preferred.
+ Previous experience in a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Recruiter, or similar HR role preferred.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Professional HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-CP) a plus.
