What will I be doing?

\n

The Talent Acquisition and Development Administrator is responsible for assisting the Recruitment in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the organization's workforce needs while also assisting learning & Development team in developing and implementing learning and development programs to enhance Team Member skills and career growth. This dual role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for talent management and Team Member development.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n

 Talent Acquisition

\n\nAssist in developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.\nAssist in creating and posting job advertisements on various platforms to ensure a wide pool of qualified candidates.\nUtilize various sourcing methods (e.g., social media paltforms, job boards, networking events) to find potential candidates.\nAssist in screening resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers for further interview processes.\nAssist in ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process\nAssist in scheduling interviews, screens resume, conducts reference checks and prints files as needed\nAssist in updating recruitment tracking system and runs any required reports as requested\nAssist in administering pre-employment process including reference and background checks, drug testing, employment authorization and verification. Closes out the positions in recruitment tracking system confirming all required notes and final dispositions completed\nAssist in building pipeline of talent through sourcing and networking initiatives. Works with various agencies to support the hotels’ affirmative action goals. Attends recruitment events, i.e. job fairs, agency events, college recruiting events as needed.\nAssist in overseeing the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they receive a smooth transition into the company\nAssist in Human Resources administration including assistance with new hire information, forms and paperwork in compliance with federal, state and local laws. Maintenance of employee records including personnel files\n\n

 Development

\n\nAssist in scheduling and coordination of training classes including maintenance of training calendar\nAssist in development and distribution of training brochures and flyers notifying team members of upcoming classes, tracking employee sign-ups and preparation of materials including certificates of completion\nAssist in input and track data of various Hilton quality measurement programs on trends including, but not limited to, Guest comment cards, Standards of Product and Performance and benchmarks, into computerized tracking system. Prepare and distribute reports.\nAssist in maintenance of inventory of all office supplies, stationary, business cards and office equipment\nAssist in conducting training needs assessments to identify gaps in employee skills and knowledge.\nAssist in Designing, developing, and implementing learning programs that align with organizational goals and Team Member career paths\nAssist in facilitating in-house training sessions, workshops, and seminars; coordinate with external training providers as needed\nAssist in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes\nAssist in supporting Team Members in their career development by providing guidance and resources for skill enhancement and career progression\nAssist in managing the Learning Management Systems, ensuring training records are up-to-date and accessible\n

\n\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition and/or learning and development roles\nStrong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices\nExcellent presentation and communication skills\nAbility to design and implement effective training programs\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team and ability to work under pressure. \nProficient in using HR software and Learning Management Systems\nStrong organizational and time management skills. \nOutgoing and enthusiastic personality\nAbility to analyze data and metrics to make informed decisions\nFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs\nCapability to lead projects and initiatives with minimal supervision\nStrong problem-solving skills to address recruitment and training challenges\nAbility to build strong relationships with candidates, employees, and external partners\n\n
