About the Role:

Reporting to the Head of International Talent Acquisition, this is critical role to lead all hiring initiatives across the EMEA region, with the exception of Engineering. You will come with a proven track record of fostering collaborative and strategic partnerships with Senior Business stakeholders across multiple functions, including FP&A and HR COEs. Furthermore, Embody care by demonstrating our values through your actions and communication with colleagues and candidates. Strive to leave everyone you engage with holding an elevated opinion of Crowdstrike and our brand externally, and the TA organization internally.

As the leader for your team you will be leading a team of experienced recruiters, sourcers and multiple managers – providing mentorship, coaching, guidance, and influence across global and regional TA teams, ensuring growth and development of your teams all while solving challenging problems, including goal setting and performance management. In this key role you will be expected to proactively work with the business to think long term to understand upcoming hiring needs alongside delivering to current openings across the region.

Develop a comprehensive global view of the business organization driven by data while exerting influence within the company to be seen as a trusted advisor regarding relevant markets while managing regional/country specific topics

Managing global stakeholders and guiding planning for EMEA leadership across headcount plans

Drive initiatives within the Talent Acquisition team regionally or globally and create your own plans, ideas and initatives to continually look at driving change and improvement

Collaborate closely to contribute to key areas such as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in our hiring practices, as well as building a distributed workforce across multiple functions

Be the first point of contact for the EMEA region across all functions, including working with other teams in TA, e.g. TA Ops and Engineering to align on combined initiatives

Partner with finance, and the Senior Director, Sales operations, EMEA and VP, Sales Operations, META in addition to the Director, HR EMEA, VP HR International and the wider HR team

Being the voice of TA in the region, attending QBRs, leadership meetings and using data to present and tell the story

Lead by example and set the best practice across all areas of talent acquisition for your team

Work with the business to understand their recruitment needs; formulate recruitment plans and the best methods of attracting candidates & reducing management time in the process

Provide advice and coach to our senior leaders and  line managers on recruitment policies & procedures; best practice; selection processes, competency frameworks & interview techniques

Continually looking for improvements in not just what we do but also how we do it always with the goal in mind of raising the benchmark of quality entering Crowdstrike

When needed you will actively sourcing candidates directly via headhunting, advertising, referrals and search

Research and lead innovative recruitment strategies and develop creative solutions to generate high quality talent for the business

Ensure the best working practices are observed within your team for our ATS and CRM systems (Workday and Avature), proactively suggesting any areas of improvement

Establish team objectives in alignment with TA and HR objectives and policies and ensure direct team has clarity on how their work impacts and contributes to overall priorities

Proactively manages team capacity against hiring demands, including longer term thinking about resourcing planning and scaling your team, taking into consideration multiple factors including distribution of hiring mix, multi-country hiring complexity, business readiness, and market insights

Balance regional nuances in assessments and interview workflow processes with global best practices to ensure an equitable and consistent hiring bar

What You’ll Need:

Experience:

Must have proven experience in direct line management of multiple managers and individual contributors

Proven experience of building a high performing team in a highly demanding environment

Proven track record of leading European wide TA teams (IC’s and Leaders) who successfully executed against a hiring plan, while nurturing high-level strategic alliances with key influencers such as senior business stakeholders and global leaders

Proven experience in hiring across GTM (specifically Sales) and technical functions, including at an Executive level (VP+), driving continual improvement in both your people and in how you deliver against the expectations of the role

Ability to lead and run projects within a matrix environment

Understanding of HR policy, process and legislation across the EMEA region

Experienced in using data to tell the story and make informed decisions

Experience working within a software vendor and/or technology business

Extensive experience in direct hiring methods such as headhunting, search, advertising, database search and referral campaigns

Experience in supporting Senior Executives globally simultaneously

Skills:

Ability to lead and run complex projects within a matrix environment

Ability to work under pressure and lead times during times of high workload and tight timelines, ensuring quality measures

Leveraging dashboards and reporting tools to inform TA Leadership about hiring progress or identify potential obstacles impacting our ability to meet hiring goals is also crucial for success.

An understanding of the different attraction methods and how and when to use them, alongside utilization of different selection & assessment tools/techniques.

Understanding of HR policy, process and legislation, as well as best practices in sourcing/hiring/talent attraction and talent management (e.g. succession planning) across the EMEA region

Creativity, with a solutions mindset

Analytical thinker, with exceptional planning skills

Team player willing to be hands on and support others when required

Champions major initiatives by crafting compelling narratives rooted in substantial data and evidence, also recognizing the importance of proactively communicating the TA and Crowdstrike vision and effectively translating it to drive action.

Outstanding  communication skills, including customer facing, with the ability to present effectively, challenge and influence to all levels up to Executives on the business direction as it relates to your specialist area

Bonus Points:

Cyber Security industry experience

Experience using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) – Workday is ideal

Experience of CRM tools such as Avature

Knowledge of Psychometric Profiling
