**Objective of Position** :
The Talent Acquisition Director is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle recruitment process for the Bank. This role involves developing and implementing strategic talent acquisition strategies, managing a team of talent acquisition professionals, building talent pipelines, and ensuring a high-quality candidate experience. The Director will focus on streamlining recruitment processes, optimizing the use of Byline’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and ensuring seamless communication across departments.
**Duties and responsibilities** **:**
+ Manage, implement, and continuously enhance all stages of the full life cycle recruiting process, from position requisitions to sourcing candidates, screening, interviewing, extending offers and onboarding/integrating new hires.
+ Defines, builds, and implements talent acquisition strategies, goals and practices, ensuring alignment with our principles, annual hiring objectives, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
+ Develops, implements, and evaluates the bank’s policies and procedures on recruitment, testing, selection and job placement.
+ Manages recruiting budgets; outlining how to strategically invest in programs, resources, and tools.
+ Negotiates pricing and agreements with third partner vendors providing recruitment-related services.
+ Manages third party recruiting firms/partners. Determines appropriate strategy for how and when to engage external search firms in select searches.
+ Develops and implements a comprehensive employer branding strategy to attract and retain top talent. Leads employer brand campaigns across multiple channels, including social media (LinkedIn, Glassdoor etc.), career fairs, and industry events.
+ Develop and maintain the recruiting pages on the Bank’s intranet; keep the careers page on Bylinebank.com current and fresh to attract the highest-level candidates.
+ Manages and mentor a team of recruiters, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to enhance their performance. Plans and directs activities of recruiting team in carrying out such functions as developing sources of qualified applicants, conducting screening interviews, evaluating applicant qualifications and other talent acquisition functions.
+ Develops staff to build skills, where necessary in candidate sourcing, interviewing, and effective communication with key stakeholders.
+ Develops and tracks relevant Talent Acquisition metrics and provides analysis and insights of data/trends to senior management on a regular cadence. Uses data to inform actions needed to adjust recruiting and onboarding strategies.
+ Defines and manages the overall employee onboarding process – working closely with internal partners in IT, HR, and management to ensure smooth and effective employee onboarding.
+ Achieves streamlined recruiting process, with frequent communication with both candidates and hiring managers, and a strong sense of urgency.
+ Develops and manages the Bank’s analyst, campus recruiting and internship programs.
+ Plans and directs regional-based retail recruitment job fairs as staffing needs dictate, including any on-campus events.
+ Makes recommendations to management for improvement of the Bank’s employment policies, procedures and practices, including support and tracking of good faith efforts in support of Affirmative Action plans.
+ Apply behavioral based interviewing and ensure that each hiring manager is well versed in our recruiting methodology and process, including interview guides, gathering feedback, and ensuring a smooth and consistent process for candidates and hiring managers.
+ Knowledge of compliance and legal considerations in recruitment and hiring
+ Develops and manages the internal job posting process and communications.
+ Stay current on the market landscape of emerging technology that is disrupting the talent acquisition lifecycle and identify opportunities for innovation.
+ All other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications** **:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree required.
+ 10+ years of experience in recruiting, onboarding/integration; a minimum of 5 years in managing others.
+ Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employer branding.
+ Proficient in the use of social media and job boards.
+ Proficiency in collecting and analyzing data relating to recruiting.
+ Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to influence others at all levels in the organization.
+ Must have the ability to function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and prioritize multiple projects daily.
+ Proven leadership and management abilities that foster collaborative working relationships.
+ Must have strong planning and organizational skills.
+ Must have a “hands-on” tactical approach.
+ Creative and proactive approach to problem solving.
+ Facilitate teamwork and identify opportunities to develop new processes/infrastructure.
+ Demonstrated ability to grasp and implement new concepts quickly.

+ Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and applicant tracking (ATS) tools. Ability to quickly get up to speed and master new applications and software.
**Preferred:**
+ Solid understanding of business, with particular emphasis on banking / financial services.
+ Experience working in a high-growth, culture-driven environment,
+ Experience training or leading training courses.
+ Human resources training and/or experience (PRH, SHRM, SPHR, licensing).
**Physical Demands/Work Environment:**
Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices.

This role allows for a combination of remote and in-office work, with occasional visits to the office based on business needs. Specific in-office days may vary and will be discussed during the interview process.
**Compensation & Benefits:**
Byline Bank offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels.
The salary range for this position is between $147,700 to $197,000.
In addition, Byline provides benefits including medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, paid time off and much more! Depending on the specific role, compensation may also include discretionary bonuses and other benefit programs. The actual compensation package may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience level, and candidate's location.
