Job summary – What to expect: 

As the Talent Acquisition Intern of our Talent Acquisition Team, you'll be responsible for implementing engaging candidate communications, supporting the utilization of talent pools & generating candidate flow to live vacancies. Supporting the recruiters in the team to source suitably skilled candidates for all levels of roles whilst focusing on the overall candidate experience. Becoming a key member of the TA team to be able to support across the team as required with a key focus on candidate experience, employer brand & I&D.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

Ensure consistency is happening across the TA team when looking at our own SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) to do with candidate experience/candidate communications. Become confident in sourcing new candidates on platforms such as LinkedIn & Indeed for a wide range of roles.  Create a content calendar for active talent pools & curate/create content as required  Create engaging materials for use in recruitment campaigns such as static posts, carousels and outdoor advertising where required. Share external best practice and current industry trends with the Talent Acquisition team  Regularly engage with Talent Pools, working alongside Talent Acquisition Leads & Specialists to understand live recruitment needs and refer actively interested candidates  Preparing Recruitment metric reports and analytics  Utilize the Application Tracking System (ATS), pull reports and work with the TA team effectively to ensure the management of our candidates are as up to date as possible. Support new starter onboarding processes, working with HR team  Partner with the TA team to understand the I&D strategy, make suggestions and take responsibility for key actions to drive a more inclusive process & attract greater diversity  Creating and adding content to company comms/newsletters aligned with EVP Support CooperVision early career strategy, particularly focused on UK Internships & supporting the strategy for potential graduate programmes  Creation of & copywriting job adverts and social media postings to ensure engagement and accurate tone of voice  Increase our talent acquisition presence and interaction on social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Instagram etc.) to generate candidate flow Continuously assess and report the results of campaigns and implement improvements where necessary Support recruitment team coordination where required, this could include screening candidates, reviewing CV’s, booking interviews, making offers & utilizing our ATS system.

 

About you:

We are looking for a proactive self-starter, with a can-do attitude, who has strong relationship building skills and stakeholder management abilities.

We are looking for someone with:

Meticulous organisational skills with acute attention to detail. Creativity, capable of attracting positive attention through captivating words and imagery. Good level of project management skills and coordination of others  Ability to create content from blogs to emails to videos. Confident Excel user & able to analyse data to tell a story.

Education:

Currently undertaking an undergraduate degree in Marketing / HR or a relevant Business degree and plan on pursuing a career in a related field.
