Purpose Statement
As Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager, you will work closely with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to understand the recruiting needs of the business; anticipate hiring needs and proactively identify recruiting solutions to meet those needs. Provide consultation and inputs for the development, implementation and execution of Talent Acquisition programs, initiatives and/or policies in support of the organization’s business objectives. Develops, initiates and executes sourcing and recruiting strategies and other TA related processes. Manages multiple clients and competing demands to attract qualified candidates and fill open positions while positioning the organization as an “Employer of Choice”.
Roles and Responsibilities
Based on business needs and industry trends, provide value-added advice and lead the development of recruitment strategies designed to meet company requirements Develop and implement organizational recruiting strategies to attract the best qualified candidates Optimize the strategic role of the Talent Acquisition function and identify opportunities to improve TA process efficiencies and overall approach Represent Talent Acquisition and/or act as project manager on specified Talent Acquisition initiatives Focus on continuous improvement, provide inputs and make recommendations to improve the recruitment process, policies, and strategy. Contribute to the development of new concepts, best-practices and standards of Talent Acquisition Manage and partner with outsourced services/Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) provider, external agencies and vendors to support recruiting process, and ensure successful outcomes Engage resources to maximize the strategic role of the Talent Acquisition function and eliminate non-value-added work Represent Talent Acquisition and/or serve as project manager on specified initiatives as required Ensure the organization complies with local laws and regulations as it relates to sourcing, recruiting and hiring Always represent the Boston Scientific Employer Brand effectively Partner with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers, keeping stakeholders updated as appropriate while effectively interacting with all levels of employees, addressing questions, and providing information Work with Hiring Managers, with input from the HR Business Partners, to manage headcount requests as well as develop talent acquisition plans that reflect current and future hiring needs Coach Hiring Managers and coordinate selection process to ensure optimal selection of candidates for available positions Conduct interviews by evaluating employment factors such as job experience, education, training, skills, knowledge and abilities and other data relevant to the selection process Prepare, extend and negotiate competitive job offers Troubleshoot problems that arise in connection with the recruiting and hiring process
Qualifications
At least 10+ years of related experience in Talent Acquisition, with a preference for someone with a combination of experience in in-house Talent Acquisition and RPO or recruitment agency - ideally in Medical Device / Life Sciences Expertise in managing outsourced services / RPO, scaling up Talent Acquisition operations Ability and willingness to undertake operational aspects of end-to-end recruitment, ensuring quality delivery involving proactive candidate sourcing, attracting, engaging and managing candidates through to final hire Ability to manage scale, complexity, and Diversity in hiring Ability to provide market insights, develop insights from data, collaborate with HR & business stakeholders Play the role of a seasoned, mature and pragmatic Talent Advisor to stakeholders (VPs, Senior Directors/Directors and Hiring Managers) Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills. Ability to engage, build and maintain trusting relationships with hiring managers at all levels Strong in execution with good understanding of Talent Acquisition best practices Proactive, highly organized, meticulous and dynamic individual Takes strong ownership and accountability in managing through processes and driving for results Collaborates and partners well with external and internal stakeholders Ability to deal with ambiguity and works well under pressure Comfortable with systems and processes, tools, reporting & analytics. Knowledge of SuccessFactors ATS and CRM tool is preferred High standards of professionalism, ethics and integrity Demonstrate gravitas and balance in engagements
