Talent Acquisition Manager
**Overview** **ABM** is hiring a **Manager, Talent Acquisition** to oversee **hourly frontline recruiting** in the **North** **Central Region (IL, OH, IN, KY, IA, SD, ND, WY, WI, MN, MI & NE)** . This individual will lead a team of six recruiters to execute on hiring for high-profile clients, develop comprehensive staffing strategies, provide internal and external labor market intelligence, drive a culture of continuous improvement and build and maintain relationships at all levels of leadership. This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility to deliver consistent and flawless service execution to our internal and external stakeholders. This is a **Hybrid Role** (in-office Tue/Wed/Thu) located at **180 N. LaSalle Street, 14th Floor, Chicago, IL 60601.** **Essential Functions** + Adapt departmental plans and manage resources to ensure team goals are met. + Effectively recruit, manage, and lead the HR team with focus on continuous improvement. Select and develop a team of professionals with the goal of earning a high level of credibility as an effective and responsive internal service group that meets the company’s growth plans. + Lead a Talent Acquisition team that will provide best -in-class recruitment, to include but not limited to, partnering with managers to develop a robust and effective recruiting strategy, maintain posted positions, source top talent, screen and interview candidates that align with the positions, extend offers, and deliver an overall exceptional candidate experience. + Maintain weekly meetings with various levels of Retail Distribution leaders to communicate TA initiatives and updates, hiring updates compared to hiring targets, reporting etc to ensure continuous alignment on hiring needs. + Effectively participate in collaborative conversations with business leaders, hiring managers, and human resource leaders to leverage your expertise of the labor market and strategies to attract the right talent to fill open roles. + Assist the TA Team to effectively create and maintain diverse candidate pipelines from a broad range of resources. + Ensure the requisition load is appropriately distributed between the team for increased efficiencies. + Special projects and other duties as assigned **Required Qualifications** **Education:** + BS/BA degree preferred but not required. **Experience:** + 3+ years of high-volume, full-cycle recruitment experience including sourcing, candidate selection and onboarding (hourly/frontline recruiting preferred). + 2+ years of experience managing teams of recruiters (in-person & remotely) preferred. **Other:** + Customer-service focus with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude and ability to make things happen. + Passion to grow strong relationships across all levels of the organization. + Endless curiosity to question the status quo and have the managerial courage to lead process improvements. + Proactive and data-driven approach to problem solving, drive to find root causes and fix them, despite challenges. + Ability to work through ambiguity and maintain composure in a variety of situations. + Passion for excellence backed by a track record of accountability, collaboration, and integrity. + Ability to effectively lead a staff of direct reports. Proven track record as an effective manager in a high-performance organization, success as a builder of collaborative, high-performance teams whose management style is characterized as results orientation. + Expertise and a proven track record of developing recruiting best practices, and candidate sourcing strategies. + Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, consultative, and negotiation skills. + Strong understanding of labor supply market trends and legal requirements. + Expertise in developing and presenting strategic recruitment plans to internal clients and sourcing for high-volume, multi-site, hard-to-fill and critical positions. + Applicant Tracking System experience + Experienced and adept at interacting at all levels. + Ability to work in a fast pace work environment balancing multiple projects and embracing change. + High-level leader who is proactive in conceiving, initiating, and executing human resources programs relevant to the organization’s culture. + Strategic thinker, with an ability to contribute at both a strategic and operational level. + Proven leadership in delivering high-impact solutions. + Ability to resolve issues under tight timeframes and pressure. + Ability to prioritize assignments and projects and to multi-task within restricted time constraints. + Excellent written and verbal communication, team building, and planning skills + Excellent time management and organizational skills, detail orientation with solid analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills + Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop productive business relationships; and ability to influence and educate key internal clients. **Pay: $115,000–$145,000** The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
