The opportunity:
Come and join our award-winning Talent Acquisition team! At AIA we’re passionate about delivering an exceptional hiring experience and driving strategic talent initiatives.
This role has become available due to internal movement, presenting a fantastic opportunity for a leader who’s passionate, dynamic and has a skill for spotting talent to take the reins. You’ll lead a team of two, blending strategy with hands-on execution—balancing big-picture thinking with rolling up your sleeves to support end-to-end recruitment. From enhancing our employer brand to managing key talent programmes, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our future.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading & developing the team – Mentor and support a team of two to deliver outstanding recruitment outcomes.
Driving the talent acquisition strategy – Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies and build future talent pipelines.
Enhancing our employer brand – Lead initiatives to showcase AIA as a great place to work, including creating engaging video content and targeted campaigns.
Hands-on recruitment delivery – Manage key roles and support high-volume hiring when needed, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
Strengthening stakeholder relationships – Partner with business leaders to proactively manage recruitment needs, improve hiring manager capability, and embed a strategic talent mindset.
Optimising processes & policies – Continuously refine our talent acquisition framework, ensuring best practices, compliance, and operational excellence.
Managing key talent programmes – Oversee key programmes, market mapping, and talent mobility initiatives.
Data-driven insights: Use analytics tools to track, report, and refine recruitment strategies, ensuring sustained performance and measurable growth.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
Proven talent acquisition leadership: 5+ years in a senior talent acquisition role
Strong people and stakeholder management
A proactive and adaptable approach with the ability to pivot between BAU and strategic activities.
Experience in developing and executing employer branding initiatives, including creating engaging content.
Proven experience in strategic sourcing, building sustainable talent pipelines, and leveraging market insights to identify top talent.
Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills.
HR systems knowledge (Workday experience would be an advantage) and a data-driven approach to continuous improvement.
