Talent Acquisition Manager- Tom Wood Group

Tom Wood Group located in Indianapolis, Indiana is currently searching for a Talent Acquisition Manager to build and champion a Best in Class recruiting strategy for the retail automotive market.  

 

Responsibilities:  

Design, execute, and manage a full cycle recruiting strategy that is internally service oriented and includes: Overseeing and improving the overall candidate experience Maintaining talent pipelines with potential and past candidates Ensuring hiring practices are Best in Class and legally compliantDeveloping social media strategies for both social and professional networking sites Resume mining In-depth market researchCommunity outreach events to promote Tom Wood Group as an employer of choice Fostering relationships with high schools, trade schools, and universities for internship programs Participating in career fairs Developing and executing talent-sourcing strategies based on the position, industry standards, and the organization’s needs to ensure the Tom Wood Group remains forward-thinking and competitive Actively seeking new ideas and utilizing industry best practices, latest techniques, and industry trends to proactively source both active and passive candidatesEstablish, track, and report on talent acquisition KPIsCollaborate with human resources and general managers to fully understand hiring needs and always have a finger on the pulse Manage third party employment agencies, service agreements, and pricing Manage activities of recruiter(s) Actively manage own requisition load with the ability to match cultural and environmental fit, technical skills, and experience Identify and work to remove barriers that may hinder the recruiting process and the productivity of the team Other duties as assigned 

 

 

Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity with a high concentration in recruiting for both professional and skilled positions Hands-on experience with full cycle recruiting to include candidate sourcing, interviewing, and evaluation Advances understanding of ADP, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other key talent acquisition platforms Prior experience in multi-site environments highly preferred Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Exceptional internal customer focusKnowledgeable of trends, tools, and technologies used to recruit and source all talent levels and experience Must be a driven leader who brings strong functional expertise, a working knowledge of cutting-edge trends in recruiting and hiring, and utilizes analytics in combination with solid business acumen to create and implement effective strategiesStrategic thinker who can analyze factors and variables, solve problems, improve processes, and identify creative solutions Ability to implement a program or process from conception to completion Proven ability to build partnerships across all levels of an organization Ability to travel within a 60-mile radius of home office to visit locations MUST have a valid driver’s license with a CLEAN record
