The Purpose of the Role

The Talent Acquisition Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution of effective recruitment strategies to attract and select top talent for the organization and territories supporting Head Start operations throughout the network. S/he leads a team of Recruiters and Coordinators and empowers them to execute against functional goals by effectively managing the team’s performance, providing subject matter expertise, leadership, and guidance in all areas of Talent Acquisition. The individual will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including leaders, hiring managers, HR business partners, and external recruiting partners, to ensure a high-quality stakeholder experience. 

What You’ll Work On

Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract and select top talent that aligns with the organization's mission, values, and goals.

Work closely with leaders to understand their hiring needs and recruitment goals for all of Support Center and Shine Early learning roles. 

Manage, coach, and motivate Shine & Support Center Talent Acquisition Partners.

Conduct market research to identify the latest recruitment trends, best practices, and new sources of talent.

Improve candidate pools by identifying and fostering various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and other relevant sources.

Assess and manage the overall candidate experience to ensure a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.

Build and maintain relationships with external recruiting partners, including staffing agencies, job boards, and recruiting platforms.

Track and report key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire.

Develop and implement process improvements based on data-driven learning. 

Manage the entire recruitment process for up to ten (10)  requisitions, as needed. 

About You  (Requirements/competencies) 

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or a related field.

Minimum of one year of experience managing a team of Recruiters

Proven track record of successful recruitment, including experience with various sourcing channels, recruitment metrics, and candidate evaluation techniques.

When/Where/How Much 

Start Date: December 2024

Location/Travel: Remote with up to 15% travel for work related meetings or functions.

Salary: $74,000 - $90,000
