Talent Acquisition Partner (6 month contract)

We’re seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Partner (6-month contract) based in Montreal to drive hiring efforts for our Go to Market & Operations teams. You will own the recruitment process from the time a role is approved until the new Lightspeeder has started, ensuring a great candidate experience while being a strategic partner to the Go to Market organization in North America. Sales recruitment experience is an essential requirement.

What you’ll be doing:

Manage a full-cycle recruiting process from kick off, to offer acceptance, all the while ensuring the highest standards and a seamless and positive experience for both your internal stakeholder and the candidate. Gather approvals, craft awesome job postings, and design fit-for-purpose interview processes in line with our recruitment framework. Act as a subject matter expert and coach hiring managers on recruitment best practices. Develop and maintain strong and effective business relationships with hiring managers and senior management. Collaborate with and share your expertise with other members of the Talent Acquisition team. Keep track of your hiring data and regularly draw insights to continuously improve our processes and strategy. Champion diversity & inclusion best practices in all our hiring processes. Responsible for engaging with and finding top talent (e.g. attend recruitment events, job boards, strategic sourcing initiatives, creating relationships with local schools, etc.).  Contribute to the ongoing development and execution of Lightspeed’s overall sourcing, recruitment hiring plan and objectives.

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

Proven experience in end-to-end Sales recruitment, successfully hiring Sales Development roles such as Sales Development Representatives and Account Executives. Successful experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches and stakeholder relationships. Proven stakeholder management skills at all levels of the business. Experience advocating for diversity of thought and collaborating with others to highlight its value. Proven ability to source, sell and close candidates.  Ability to work in a global and fast-paced environment. Bilingual in French & English with excellent communication skills.
