Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and resourceful Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team of passionate and driven HR professionals in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The Talent Acquisition Partner will lead the strategies and procedures for all aspects of the recruiting process to meet business needs.
Location: Iowa Judicial Branch Building in Des Moines, IA
Hours:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Under the direct supervision of Human Resources leadership, the responsibilities of this position include:
+ Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
+ Research talent acquisition trends and best practices; implement process improvements.
+ Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance throughout the hiring process.
+ Conduct initial screenings and may participate in phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit; update and maintain the applicant tracking system throughout the hiring process.
+ Analyze the hiring process and associated data to anticipate hiring needs.
+ Manage the candidate experience, ensuring timely communication and a positive impression of the Iowa Judicial Branch.

This is a non-merit position with the Iowa Judicial Branch. Candidates must follow the instructions in the "To Apply" section.
Positions in this class are exempt from the screening and referral requirements of the Iowa Department of Administrative Services - Human Resources Enterprise
Minimum Qualification Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
+ Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an HR Generalist.
+ Alternatively, a combination of education and experience equal to six (6) years.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices
+ Relevant experience with talent acquisition or recruiting
+ Technical proficiency in HR systems
+ Professional certification (e.g. HRCI or SHRM)
