**Summary:**
Pennsylvania Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior-level recruiter to join our regional Talent Acquisition Team! The Senior Recruiter is responsible for the recruitment and selection of professional level roles and/or multi-incumbent roles across assigned business areas for Penn Medicine as well as developing, implementing and facilitating recruitment and placement strategies and staffing services throughout the University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS). This role supports UPHS overall Human Resources strategies while effectively and efficiently filling all positions as assigned. This position may also participate in special projects as identified such as but not limited to AAP, EEO, diversity initiatives, staff development, marketing, retention, statistical programs new or updated processes and temporary workforce and pipeline strategies. The Senior Recruiter demonstrates the highest level of recruiting practice and is a subject matter and/or technical expert. The Senior Recruiter may serve as project manager and may direct a work team assigned to a particular project. The Senior Recruiter is a strategic partner to HR team members and leaders and managers throughout the organization. The Senior Recruiter will work under limited supervision and will work with a level of performance that requires independent action, analysis and interpretation.
As a Senior Recruiter, you will use your deep recruiting knowledge, sourcing skills and labor market expertise to recruit clinical and non-clinical professionals. You will work closely with candidates and hiring managers to build strong relationships and ensure a timely and seamless hiring process so that we are bringing in the best and brightest talent. You will also contribute to projects, participate in task teams, problem solve and share ideas and knowledge in a team-centric, collaborative environment that values you as an individual. This opportunity is primarily remote with occasional onsite presence required for career events and team meetings.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Recruitment and selection of professional level roles and/or multi-incumbent roles across assigned business areas
+ Works with hiring departments in providing specialized and fiscally sound recruitment services as needed.
+ Responsible for development, implementation, maintenance and measurement of recruiting plans.
+ Recruits for open positions as assigned and/or plans for future openings.
+ Manages complex recruitment projects, up through leadership roles.
+ Understands social media and web-based recruitment.
+ Can develop, execute and document sourcing plans.
+ Develops a comprehensive recruitment plan and can articulate the plan to a potentially broad audience both verbally and in writing.
+ Recommends alternative recruitment strategies for hard to fill positions.
+ Maintains a selection and interview system in accordance with state and federal laws, EEO Regulations and Hospital and UPHS Policies.
+ Produces postings to attract the best potential candidates using strategies likely to increase the visibility of positions on the web and in social media.
+ Functions as a strategic partner to Hiring Managers, colleagues and leaders throughout the organization.
+ Conducts phone screens in a thorough and professional manner to assure qualified candidates are referred to hiring department. Informs applicants of job specifics, compensation and benefits, work environment, bonus programs and other related information.
+ Appropriately escalates issues requiring attention to his/her supervisor.
+ Understands our core business and can articulate the connections between recruitment and business operations in their assigned area.
+ Meets regularly with operations and leadership teams to discuss staffing needs.
+ Evaluates the results of advertising and recommends changes when necessary and actively participates in the development and maintenance of recruitment/marketing materials.
+ Proactively seeks out opportunities to meet and exceed operational needs.
+ Anticipate customer/client needs while following through with timely responses.
+ Participate in internal and external educational opportunities to keep informed of new ideas to share with clients.
+ Must meet minimum standards of customer service as documented by Manager.
+ Attends scheduled staff meetings and is on time. Maintains regularly scheduled meetings with hiring departments. Proactive in resolving recruitment issues.
**Qualifications:**
+ A bachelor's degree is required with 5 or more years of recruitment experience, including use of common tools, processes and applications used in full life-cycle recruiting (i.e. ATS systems, social networking, etc.)
+ A driver's license is preferred as there may be occasional travel to various locations and may be required to transport materials for meetings, interviews, etc
+ Professional in Human Resources and PHR certification is also preferred.

+ Understands and can communicate key UPHS initiatives and business objectives.
+ Must possess the personal presence to represent UPHS in a variety of recruiting related situations including in person and virtual situations.
+ Ability to read, write, and communicate skillfully.
