**Location:** Hyderabad or Bangalore

**The job**
We are seeking a **Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist** to help us source, attract, and hire top engineering talent in India. This role is critical in building high-performing teams across **Software R&D** , including **AI applications development** and **Cloud-based enterprise software development** .
The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on experience in **end-to-end technical recruiting** within a technology product company, combined with strong stakeholder management, sourcing expertise, and a commitment to delivering an excellent candidate experience
.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute **effective recruitment strategies** for AI and non-AI software R&D roles
+ Source and attract talent using job boards, social media, referrals, niche tech communities, and industry events
+ Screen, interview, and assess candidates using structured techniques (behavioral, competency-based, technical assessments)
+ Manage the **end-to-end hiring process** , including offer negotiation and closure
+ Maintain and optimize applicant tracking systems (e.g., Workday) and candidate databases
+ Build and sustain strong professional networks to ensure a pipeline of diverse and high-quality candidates
+ Provide market insights and trends to hiring managers to guide talent planning
+ Ensure **inclusive, and unbiased recruitment process** , aligned with AVEVA’s commitment to Inclusion & Equity
+ Collaborate with the wider **People Team** (Talent, Rewards, Employee Experience, People Partners) to continuously improve the hiring process and employer brand
**Essential capabilities & skills**
+ Proven hands-on experience as a **Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist** or similar role in a **technology product organization** Strong technical recruiting expertise across software engineering, with exposure to **AI/ML, cloud-native, and enterprise software domains**
+ Advanced sourcing and networking skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Kaggle, AI communities)Solid understanding of recruitment best practices, **India labor laws** , and HR processes
+ Proficiency in **ATS tools** (Workday preferred)
+ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence at all levels
+ Excellent negotiation, time management, and prioritization abilities
+ High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism
**Essential experience**
+ 8+ years of end-to-end Talent Acquisition experience within a technology product domain with a sizable global backdrop
+ Demonstrated success hiring for **AI/ML engineering, cloud, software development, and QA/testing roles** in India
+ Experience of working in a People Team, showing knowledge of HR policies, processes across the whole employee lifecycle

**Hybrid working**
By default, employees are expected to be in their local AVEVA office three days a week, but some positions are fully office-based. Roles supporting particular customers or markets are sometimes remote.
