The Talent Acquisition Sourcer (SkillBridge Internship) is an opportunity exclusively for Active Duty Service Members transitioning to the civilian workforce. As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Sourcer will specialize in sourcing top talent for critical and high-priority hiring needs. This role partners closely with business leaders to identify strategic workforce requirements and proactively develop a pipeline of highly skilled candidates. The Sourcer focuses on uncovering hard-to-find talent, leveraging innovative sourcing strategies, and delivering exceptional candidates to meet current and future hiring demands. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic recruiting environment, preparing Service Members for a successful transition to civilian careers.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
• Recruit for ‘passive’ talent and leverage market knowledge with a creative and proactive approach to provide a candidate pool to open requisitions.
• Conduct initial phone screens of potential candidates and act as a Career Counselor to prospects by guiding them through the process, providing coaching, and giving them a holistic view of AMC, including potential future paths within the organization.
• Embrace and leverage technology (CRM, ATS, Social Media, Sourcing tools, automation, Analytics, etc..) to gain a competitive advantage, track performance, trends and scale Sourcing capabilities.
• Manage all external job boards and leads specific projects, including military/veteran recruitment efforts.
• Conduct Boolean searching and search via internet search, social media tools and applicant tracking system.
• Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes.
• Stay up to date on latest industry trends and news, specifically targeting "distressed companies" or competitors.
• Attend conferences, symposiums and events to develop candidate pipeline. Prepares event/conference list and schedules logistics with AMC team and event/conference rep, and recruitment materials management.
• Regularly consult with other teammates to share ideas, techniques, best practices and candidates.
• Partner with Communications and Marketing department to identify Talent Branding areas of improvement

Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or related field from four year college or university and 1 to 3 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of experience sourcing, assessing, recruiting and closing candidates at all levels of an organization in a corporate and/or agency setting
Skills
• Proven success delivering recruiting results in a fast-paced, demanding, high growth environment
• Excellent sourcing skills, with the ability to creatively use all resources available to network and find passive candidates
• General understanding of HR concepts, principles, practices, as well as Federal, State and Local laws and statutes
• Experience creating compelling position descriptions that attract top talent
• Passionate about finding top talent; true ‘hunter’ mentality
Computer Skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Experience with ATS and HRIS systems
