In the Montevideo HUB, we have the Human Resources Services (HRS) area, where we support the employee journey of over 23,000 collaborators at BASF, from their entry to their exit. In March 2021, we began building the Human Resources team for the Americas, which now consists of more than 200 people impacting the entire value chain of BASF. Among other things, this team is responsible for talent attraction and recruitment, developing the Employer Brand, working on employee development, designing the compensation and benefits package, and managing the administrative processes related to Human Resources management.
Main Objective of the Position:
The Talent Acquisition Sourcing plays a critical role in identifying and engaging top talent for BASF. As a TA Sourcer, you will collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition Partners, Recruiters, and Hiring Managers to develop effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through market research, job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and referrals. You will utilize your strong communication and relationship-building skills to engage with candidates, assess their qualifications, and provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Main Tasks:
Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Partners to understand staffing needs and forecasted demand. Implement and execute effective sourcing strategies and identify potential candidates to turn them into BASF applicants. Understand the profile needed, create searches (booleans) in Linkedin, Indeed, and any other sources and contact candidates with matching profiles (using InMail, Emails, and Phone). Use talent acquisition reports to evaluate pipeline health and focus efforts toward goals. Maintaining and enhancing candidate-facing materials, such as job descriptions and job ads. Owning and updating BASF repository. Convert candidates to applicants: Internal and Ownership governance of the external database mining by creating campaigns over email and/or leveraging the existing platforms to connect and engage using email and phone. Engage with outbound candidates and build strong relationships to create a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs. Cold Call possible candidates to clarify any questions, sell BASF’s mission, vision, and as an employer of choice, and invite them to apply. Stay close to the external market through trending, benchmarking, networking, and proactively investigating emerging recruitment trends. Conduct Market research to understand labor market insights and identify potential candidates, utilizing various sourcing channels, tools, and techniques. Maintain ongoing communication with candidates, providing updates and guidance throughout recruiting. Provide support in onboarding new team members, ensuring proper transfer of knowledge and tools. Gain exposure to projects with medium complexity through assigned tasks. Assist the team during the Audit process (internal and external), as well as in other annual processes.
Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:
Education | Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or similar.Work Experience | 3 - 4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a focus on sourcing, preferably with the US market.Languages | Advanced language skills in English.Technical Skills | Intermediate skills in applicant tracking system (ATS) such as Taleo or Success Factor. Intermediate skills in recruiting tools, for example: LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.Soft Skills | Strong verbal and written communication skills, actively listening to understand needs and requirements. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of employees. Negotiation skills, persuasion and influencing others, and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances. Excellent organizational skills, and strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities.
