Talent Acquisition Specialist – APAC / HR Generalist
Talent Acquisition Specialist - APAC/HR Generalist  Job Description & Requirements: Lead the full recruitment life cycle across all hiring levels for the APAC region (Hong Kong, China, Japan, Singapore, and Australia). Ensure a smooth candidate experience from pre-employment to onboarding. Work closely with the country HR and regional Talent Acquisition head to understand and support the local hiring needs, ensuring alignment with country-specific market trends and business requirements. Collaborate with line managers and business leaders in each country to understand job requirements and adjust recruitment strategies to match local business needs. Support the hiring process and maintain all HR functions, including maintaining and updating employee information on a timely basis and new hire onboarding. Responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating operations and activities related to HR operations and functions. Manages the overall talent acquisition process, including writing and posting job descriptions, advertising, sourcing, interviewing, making recommendations, and negotiating competitive offers. Develop and implement regional Employer Branding and Sourcing strategies, including exploring social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) and partnerships with regional universities to drive internship programs and talent pipelines. Manage regional recruitment databases, ensuring accurate data management, documentation, and analysis for continuous improvements in the recruitment process. Maintaining data integrity within our applicant tracking system. Understanding the dynamics of diverse groups. Assist in regional HR projects and ad hoc assignments as required by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree required. 4+ years of relevant experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a regional role covering APAC markets. Experience in working closely with country HR or TA teams to support country-specific hiring needs. Professional proficiency in at least one additional language (Cantonese or Mandarin) is highly preferred. Self-sufficient and able to work with minimum direct supervision. Outstanding communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills. Experience with tools and technology, including an Applicant Tracking System, HR People Management System, and LinkedIn Recruiter functionality, would be preferable. MS Office- including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
