Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description

OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for the administration and maintenance of associates recruitment, including resourcing, talent pooling and development of the employer brand. Provide support to Talent Acquisition Manager and Senior Talent and Culture Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Keep updated candidate trackers. • Main point of contact for candidates to do background checks, employment offer proposals, • Identify and use outside recruiting sources. • Post on ATS the positions approved by DOTC and MD • Interview all applicants for line level positions and submit references. • Ensure the existence of a recruitment and selection system, ensuring the right candidate for the right job. • Ensure that the application, screening, interview and hiring process for all candidates is carried out in accordance with hotel policy and procedures. • Oversee the consistent implementation of corporate and local policies on recruitment and selection; ensures the proper training is implemented for major task players. • Keep a network of experienced managers as probable talent pool. . • Ensure job descriptions are accurately always typed and maintained for all designations. Design and maintain communication venues (i.e. bulletin boards, flyers, e-mail teasers, etc.) • Maintain files on all current laws regarding Talent & Culture on: a. Background Checks b. Workers Compensation c. Immigrations d. Applicant Tracking e. Behavioral Interview Screening Results
QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience: Minimum two year’s experience in a human resources environment in Luxury property. • Education: High school diploma. • General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with associates as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data. • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; ability to type a minimum of 45     words per minute. • Language: Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred. • Physical Requirements: Must be able to exert physical effort, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and associates to their understanding. • Licenses & Certifications: None required.
