Visit our website at www.rheinmetall-arv-us.com FLSA Status: Exempt Approved By: Department VP/Director Job Title: Recruiter Department: Human Resources Summary Utilize sourcing techniques to attract the highest quality of candidates and build a consistent candidate pool. Pre-screen resumes, screen candidates, and assist in hiring decisions while following established staffing processes consistently. This position will be located in our Plymouth Plant in the Human Resources Department. They will be reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead located in Troy, Michigan. Responsibilities: + Establish effective recruiting strategies and identify creative recruiting methods to source the most qualified candidates. + Build and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers and interface with all levels of management in order to meet requirement needs. + Assess the degree to which candidates meet the necessary requirements for each position through interviewing. + Facilitate entire interview process by managing all parties involved, including the candidate and the hiring managers - ensure adherence to all state and federal laws, and company policies. + Consult with hiring manager (and other interviewers) on each candidate and offer helpful insight to assist hiring manager in making final candidate selection. + Solicit feedback from hiring managers concerning “satisfaction level” and adjust performance/staffing strategy according to the feedback to ensure continued customer satisfaction. + Maintain necessary files covering applications, interview documents, and other pertinent hiring documentation. + Ensure positive applicant experience throughout the hiring process. + Utilize social media channels to promote the Loc Performance employer brand and attract high caliber talent. + Follow all staffing processes to ensure consistency. + Work closely with hiring managers to define recruitment needs, create accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. + Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the job, industry standards, and company needs. + Post jobs and source candidates on job boards, resume databases, professional networks and through referrals. + Oversee internal and external communication, making sure that employer brand maintains a positive reputation on social media and related job sites such as Glassdoor, Indeed and LinkedIn, etc. + Attend and participate in job fairs, campus recruiting sessions and other sourcing events. + Develop recruiting strategies and programs to ensure an ongoing pipeline of top talent to fill positions at all levels in the organization. + Oversee the entire pre-employment process, ensuring that all candidates meet our quality, background, and integrity standards. + Manage and oversee all aspects of the candidate experience to ensure that candidates are treated with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. + Take a lead role in the management and maintenance of the company Applicant Tracking System (ATS). + Identify and negotiate contracts with external recruiting, technology, and vendors that support the pre-employment process. + Build pro-active connections to talent communities to establish pipelines of talent for near and future talent needs. + Coordinate the company internship program, including design, candidate selection, placement, evaluation, and metrics. + Utilize data and reporting to track overall performance. + All other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience + 3+ years of recent professional recruitment experience, supporting several cross-functional teams and business partner relationships. + Previous experience and high degree of competency with Applicant Tracking Systems + Previous experience with behavioral based interviewing, pre-employment tests, and other innovative selection methods + Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint + Knowledge of federal and state employment law + Bachelor’s Degree Preferred Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
