As a Disney Cruise Line Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will join a highly collaborative team located in Celebration, Florida and London, England. You will be pivotal in shaping the recruitment experience for candidates on our ships, handling daily recruitment tasks to support Disney Cruise Line. Your role will help support the strategic growth of our dynamic business, while building long term relationships with others to accomplish goals. Your technical understanding of HR systems, combined with proficiency in reporting and analytical tools such as Excel, Access, and SharePoint, will be essential. You will be part of a team who continually challenges themselves to undergo constant evolution within our day-to-day operational processes.
What You Will Do
Focus on enhancing the ship candidate experience while also identifying and solving gaps in the recruitment process that is aimed at delivering operational excellence to the organizationCollaborate with multiple Recruiters to support the full life cycle professional recruitment processPerform resume screening for a variety of operational ship/island roles from front-line shipboard Crew to Officer/Island Leader roles; assist with candidate pre-screening in the Applicant Tracking SystemAssist Recruiters with leading operational and recruitment sourcing projectsManage to target hiring deadline dates to ensure positions are assigned and hired within the agreed upon timeframePerform technical actions in our applicant tracking systemMonitor open requisitions using reporting systems and audits to promptly assign candidatesProactively communicating with Recruiter and Labor Manager when embarks may be delayedMonitor and manage global candidate pools while ensuring timely candidate progression for the role and regionFocus on continuous improvement and streamlining of candidate tracking and processingDevelop relationships and collaborate with critical business partners to support the job offer processLeverage various systems to proactively maintain data integrityActively participate as a strategic business partner to influence and drive business resultsSpecialized Line of Business support to include resume review, candidate pre-screen, offer support and interview supportAssist with special projects as neededRequired Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 1 year of experience in Human Resources/Talent Acquisition or related support team experienceBeing an ambassador in the candidate experience; ability to think creatively and take initiative to resolve issues to ensure quality experiences for candidates and hiring leadersExhibit necessary technical understanding and capabilities in HR systems and Microsoft software toolsDiplomacy, strong business acumen, integrity and ability to handle confidential informationDemonstrated computer proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePointAptitude to quickly learnOrganized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent follow-through skillsAble to be flexible, proactive, highly organized, and able to easily shift prioritiesTaking initiative; being resourceful in hunting for information and unafraid to ask questionsAble to work independently, with limited or no supervision at timesAbility to take initiative and build positive and productive personal & professional relationshipsAbility to interact with multiple levels of leadership in a professional mannerAbility to multi-task in a rapidly changing work environment effectively balancing and prioritizing multiple projectsDemonstrated problem solving and decision-making skillsPreferred Qualifications
