About the Role:
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment efforts for an oil and gas project with a focus on operations, maintenance, and brownfields blue-collar roles. This is a part-time role working 15.2 hours per week across a four day working week. This is a perfect opportunity for those looking to ease back into the workforce or someone who is studying and cannot commit to the demands of a full-time commitment. The ideal candidate will have experience in blue collar recruiting within the oil and gas, energy, mining or heavy industries. This role requires a proactive approach to sourcing, engaging, and hiring skilled tradespeople and field professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with our client hiring managers and internal stakeholders to define role requirements and recruitment strategies.Source, screen, and shortlist candidates for roles in operations, maintenance, and brownfield projects, including trades, operators and techniciansUtilise various sourcing methods, including job boards, networking, referrals, and industry databases, to identify top talent.Conduct initial interviews and coordinate interviews with our client hiring managers.Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.Maintain an up-to-date talent pipeline for future hiring needs.Create and action strategies to support diversity.Ensure compliance with company and client procedures and policies, industry standards, and local labor regulations.Collaborate with the onboarding, HR and project teams to support workforce planning and mobilisation efforts.Qualifications & Experience:
2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or staffing within the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors, specifically with blue collar.Strong understanding of operations, maintenance, and brownfields projects and the roles associated with them.Experience recruiting for FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) or remote site-based roles.Prior experience supporting large-scale projects or shutdowns in oil & gas.Benefits & Work Environment:
