Your Role
Gensler is looking for an exceptional Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist who can effectively manage full cycle recruiting for our firm's executive, senior, and/or strategic leadership positions. As a member of the Talent Acquisition Team, you will help the business attract the best talent to the firm.
You will be responsible for working on all roles, from entry-level to senior and strategic positions, owning the full-cycle recruiting process from kick-off, scheduling, assessment coordination, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, pre-business validation, and offers. Additionally, you will conduct talent mapping using advanced sourcing techniques and develop relationships with the local industry and universities.
This role will focus on the Mexican market and support other countries and offices if needed. You will also be responsible for managing the intern program, participating in job fairs to attract emerging talent, and partnering with academic and government institutions to create talent pipeline in the long term.
What You Will Do
Proactively source and recruit candidates across all levels, including entry-level, mid-level, senior, and strategic leadership roles.Own the full cycle recruiting process, including kick-off, scheduling, assessment coordination, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, pre-business validation, and offer extension.Conduct talent mapping using advanced sourcing techniques.Develop and maintain relationships with the local industry and universities to attract top talent.Provide an “exceptional candidate experience” for all prospective candidates.Network and engage with employees, professional organizations, social media (for example, LinkedIn), and other proactive channels.Influence interest from key prospects to consider opportunities at Gensler through relationship building.Provide insight and advice to business stakeholders on market trends, competitor information, market challenges, and talent acquisition strategies.Partner with Executive Leaders to understand talent requirements and formulate and deliver appropriate sourcing search strategies based on these requirements.Continuously build talent pipelines to meet current and future needs.Manage Workday and all its functions, from opening a role to dispositioning candidates and closing a role.Manage the entire offer process, including offer package preparation, negotiation, extending verbal offers to final candidates, and sending offer letters to closed candidates.Develop innovative and effective candidate engagement strategies to build networks of engaged candidates via active sourcing and employer branding activities externally and internally.Manage the intern program, ensuring a strong pipeline of future talent.Participate in job fairs to engage with potential candidates and promote Gensler as an employer of choice.Manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and scalability in a fast-paced work environment.Your Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, psychology, or a related field is required.10+ years of experience in talent acquisition processes, ideally within the architecture or design industry.Advanced talent sourcing techniques.100% bilingual English/Spanish, well written with excellent verbal communication skills.Proficient in using HRIS (Workday highly preferred), Outlook, and MS Office Suite applications.Demonstrated ability to work proactively and collaboratively within a team setting to accomplish business objectives.Excellent organizational skills and management capabilities, with keen attention to detail.Must be proactive, with the ability to engage with leadership to create strategies and delivery methods for solutions to important business issues.Ability to manage through ambiguity and multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Ability to build and maintain effective, positive working relationships across all levels of staff and leadership.Life at Gensler
