Talent Acquisition Specialist - TEMP

The position is responsible for providing life-cycle recruitment for front-office positions (in our retail organizations) within Amplifon. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in the support of our recruiting strategy and brand awareness efforts for the Americas Region. This position is the ‘face’ of recruiting to a variety of hiring managers, employees, the supporting team in both the US and Canada, and the external market. Direct partner with management on all recruitment activities:

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

% Time Duties/Responsibilities Essential/Non-Essential (E, NE) 50%

Full cycle recruitment for front-office roles across the Americas region

Collaborate with hiring managers to determine job specifications, role requirements, and hiring strategy, ensuring the efficient placement of top talent across several functions in front-office capacity. Source passive candidates, review active candidates, conduct pre-screening interviews, and coordinate interviews on behalf of hiring managers. Source appropriate candidates through internal and external networks, industry events, ORC and Workable databases, social media, and by activating referrals. Follow standardized processes to screen and select the best candidates, ensuring compliance with all governmental and client employment specifications. Negotiate and extend job offers which align with Amplifon’s compensation philosophy. Collect all appropriate documentation and approvals to comply with company policies and ensure all new hire information is handed over to HR team to onboard new employee. Create a positive candidate and hiring manager experience through the full cycle of interviews, offer, and acceptance and beyond through standardization of materials.  Align priorities to those of the Talent Acquisition organization strategy.  E 20%

Industry Event engagement 

Support, partner, and help drive industry awareness through recruiting programs and attendance in local events to Canada. Assist the Canada HR team by setting and developing short- and long-term recruiting strategies for industry events. Communicate and engage with stakeholders and primary contacts at colleges, universities, and organizations. E 20%

Franchisee Program Support

Routinely provide support, training, and resources for franchisees engaging with Workable (ATS), and other Miracle-Ear Recruiting Programs. Assist in Workable system management on franchisee requisitions. Communicate and engage with franchisees and internal stakeholders to provide consultative talent acquisition expertise.

DEIB Advocacy

Maintain direct relationship with established employee resource group, WeBelong, to drive DEIB alignment. Consider the candidate’s experience and provide recommendation and guidance in materials, resources, and processes as it relates to DEIB initiatives.  Prioritize bringing an inclusive hiring experience to candidates and hiring leaders.  N
