HR CONSULTANT JOB SUMMARY Responsible for Recruitment and Selection service to the FLA Region. Ensure the service provided meets their needs as well as the approved headcount and budget. Within the scope of the position supports business heads on reorganizations, staffing analysis and capacity planning. Ensures adequately personnel reclassification and transfers. The Talent Consultant performs its duties within the legal labor framework related to local and federal laws, corporate policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS + Plan, organize, and coordinate recruitment and selection activities for regular and temporary positions within high standards of professional recruitment, best practices and following legal labor framework, corporate policies, procedures, budget and headcount approved. + Create and execute on hiring plans using multiple strategies and sources including external search companies, job fairs, online professional networks and social media. + Ensure to attract high-quality and talented candidates that best fit job openings and business strategies. + Work directly with management to determine the requirements for the position (s) and complete the processes including, requisition, job posting according to policy and AAP, job search, candidate's assessments, interviews, selection and offer. + Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay informed of current and future hiring and business needs. Document interactions, outreach, and screening results as well as staffing metrics. + Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites, actively participation in job fairs, employment forums, etc. promoting the Bank’s employer brand opportunities, and benefits. + Advise and support business heads with the job descriptions for new or changed positions, coordinate with Compensation for analysis and participate on discussions until the position is finally assigned to the corresponding salary band. + Review employment files to verify minimum qualifications for positions requested are met. + Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant's qualifications with managers, interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications. + Administer employment tests when applicable. + Provide advice and guidance on all aspects of the Human Resources function related to recruitment and selection matters and associated terms and conditions. + Review recruitment paperwork for completeness and accuracy according to the corporate process and procedures and ensure new employee’s files are complete. + Coordinate and monitor the on-boarding process, including the new hire package for new employees and the corporate attire if applicable; facilitate the on-boarding presentation to new hires including new hires training, where applicable. + Participate and support business heads on reorganizations, staffing analysis and capacity planning. to identify efficiencies, and continuous improvement. + Evaluate and coordinate personnel reclassifications and transfers as solicited by Business Units. + Analyze personnel retention issues in coordination with compensation staff to determine economic proposals within established guidelines and policies. + Compile, monitor and track all recruitment statistics and provide regular reports to Business Groups on their recruitment and selection activity, headcount, vacancies and turnover to ensure compliance with recruitment SLA. + Maintain updated organizational charts of business units under his/her responsibility. + Coordinate temporary personnel contracts, serve as liaison with the temporary agencies, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures applicable to this type of contract. + Deliver recruitment and selection training to managers and keep the material delivered under continuous review ensuring that it remains current and up to date. + Promote the Corporation policies on Equal Employment Opportunity/AAP and the promotion of good relations, through his/her actions and to ensure that these policies are adhered to by staff for which he/she has a responsibility. + Maintain a pipeline of candidates for the positions and business under his/her responsibility. + Support management of the internship program by conducting orientations; scheduling rotations and assignments; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns; advising managers on training and mentoring. + Audit staff’s compliance with pre-employment checking in accordance with the corporate policies and procedures. + Administer the corporate attire of the Business Units, according to the established guidelines and budget, ensuring adequate inventory levels to supply employees’ needs. + Contribute towards the achievement of the Human Resources Working Plan, and the Corporate Human Resources Strategy. EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in human resources, labor relations, industrial psychology or business administration, AND EXPERIENCE 3 – 5 years' experience in recruitment and selection in the financial industry, certified or experience on target selection Or the equivalent combination of Education and Experience needed to be able to perform the functions of this job.
