Skills and Competencies

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (or in process) with an emphasis in Human Resources (preferred).

Ideally one year ahead of graduation

Responsibilities

The Talent Intern supports the delivery of training and development programs for managers and employees across Moody’s and supports the implementation of Talent Strategy initiatives for the People Team.

Contributes to the delivery of development programs, tools and content across multiple platforms, including classroom training, e-learning, webinars, lunch and learns and ad hoc development activities.Produces Talent Development reporting and analytics, including analysis of program metrics and feedback, quarterly updates to executive management and ad hoc data reporting to support engagements with regional and LOB/OU clients.Designs and implements surveys in support of Talent Development, Talent Strategy and People Team initiatives, conducts analysis of the results and presents data in effective ways to facilitate decision making by Talent Development/Talent Strategy team members, People Team department colleagues and LOB/OU clients.Participates in Talent Development/Talent Strategy projects, including coordination, marketing and implementation of New Hire Orientation, New Manager Orientation, Moody’s 360 Process, Leadership Essentials, etc. and Talent Strategy initiatives including Moody’s Performance Management Process (GPS), Talent Review and Succession Planning initiatives.Manages multiple assignments simultaneously, breaking assignments into component tasks and executing on time and to a high level of quality.Conducts other duties and supports or participates in other Talent initiatives as required.

About the team

Moody’s Talent Development and Talent Strategy teams, part of the People Team, consults with the business to identify the knowledge and skills necessary to drive employee performance and plans and implements organizational, management and leadership development initiatives for line of business clients. The group designs and delivers team development, classroom training and e-learning programs for managers in Moody’s Analytics, Moody’s Ratings and Moody’s Shared Services globally. In addition, the group manages global Talent Strategy initiatives Moody’s Performance Management process (GPS), Succession Planning, Talent Review processes.
