**Purpose:**
The Talent Development Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive early career, mid-career and senior level talent development programs that enhance employee skills, career growth, and organizational effectiveness. This role involves strategizing and facilitating training initiatives, coaching, and mentoring programs to foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
+ Develops and executes a comprehensive talent development strategy that aligns with organizational goals and workforce needs.
+ Designs and implements leadership development programs to cultivate future leaders within the organization.
+ Designs and implements structured learning opportunities, including mentorship, technical training, and leadership development.
+ Creates customized learning programs and initiatives, or leverages existing tools and resources, to cater to diverse employee needs and career paths.
+ Facilitates workshops, seminars, and training sessions aimed at skill enhancement and leadership development.
+ Ensures high-potential employees have individual development plans to support their growth and succession readiness.
+ Fosters a culture of mentorship and coaching through structured programs.
+ Evaluates existing training programs and recommend enhancements based on evolving organizational requirements and employee feedback.
+ Oversees the onboarding and orientation process for program participants, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
+ Serves as a champion for the organization’s values, fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and recognition.
+ Acts as a trusted advisor to leadership including HRBPs on talent management and development strategies.
+ Stays updated on industry trends and best practices in talent development and learning.
+ Manages the budget for talent development programs, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
+ Identifies external training resources and negotiate contracts with vendors as needed.
+ Ensures compliance with all organizational policies and regulations concerning employee training.

+ Senior thought leader that typically delivers key outcomes for core/ critical projects/ products or processes for a, department, or plant in the enterprise.
+ Accountable for multiple complex and critical projects for the area managed.
+ Outcomes are achieved by individual or through project teams, utilizing subject matter expertise; may lead cross-functional projects.
+ Recommends solutions for complex problems based on in-depth interpretation and analysis of issues to develop alternatives and update practices and policies for area or team managed.
+ Responsible for knowledge management and capability development for area.
+ May lead cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence/ quality in the design, execution, and completion of studies/ projects.
+ May directly supervise people and/ or manage contractors supporting project(s) or process(es).

Accountable for leading and managing key HR activities and outcomes for area supported (typically a department, affiliate, or area within HR). Includes planning, development, design, implementation, and ongoing management to enable the business to deliver on its goals. Acts as expert on all Astellas matters for responsible HR area.
_Accountabilities may include:_
+ Monitor and evaluate all programs to ensure that they are operating effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable regulations.
+ Provide leadership and direction in managing daily operations, ensuring consistent processes and controls are in place.
+ Analyze market data and trends, participate in market surveys, research issues, and develop key reports and information to guide design decision-making.
+ Develop, design, or modify programs to ensure that they support the strategy.
+ Assess and make recommendations in area of expertise.
+ Drive annual processes and ensure connection across HRBPs and other business areas.
+ Serve as point of contact for technical matters within assigned business area.
+ Manage risk; ensure decisions comply with regulatory works councils/ unions.
**Qualifications Required:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
+ 8+ years of demonstrated experience in talent identification and development, learning, or organizational development roles.
+ 5+ years’ experience in development and leading internship, development, and rotational programs.
+ Strong understanding of various learning methodologies and adult learning principles.
+ Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate and influencing effectively across all levels of an organization.
+ Strong analytical skills and experience in data-driven decision-making.
+ Experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
**Salary:**
$189,800 - $253,000 (NOTE: Final salary could be more or less, commensurate with experience)
