The **Talent Development Sr Manager – Early Career** is critical to driving Copeland’s commitment to developing future leaders and skilled professionals, ensuring sustainable growth as a global organization. This newly created role will design, launch, and manage Copeland’s Early Career Programs - including the Early Career Rotational Program, Internships and Apprenticeships - focused on building a diverse talent pipeline worldwide.
You will lead initiatives that align with Copeland’s global growth ambitions while you partner closely with business leaders to design development programs that ensure early career talent is equipped to meet both current and future challenges. You will also collaborate with Talent Acquisition to build strong University and trade school relationships, strengthening Copeland’s employer brand globally.
This role to be based in St Louis, MO or Sidney OH or Kennesaw GA (with travel to St Louis MO).
**AS A TALENT DEVELOPMENT SR MANAGER, YOU WILL:**
**EARLY CAREER PROGRAM MANAGEMENT**
+ **Global Program Design and Coordination** : You’ll be responsible for leading the end-to-end design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Copeland’s Early Career Programs. This includes structured rotations, mentorship programs, skill-building workshops, and capstone projects. Collaborate with business leaders to align program content with specific functional needs and objectives.
+ **Career Growth and Mentorship:** You’ll Implement mentorship programs that connect early career participants with seasoned professionals across the business. Facilitate regular networking opportunities, enabling participants to build meaningful relationships and gain exposure to various functions.
+ **Rotations and Capstone Project Leadership:** You’ll guide business leaders in designing meaningful rotations and leading capstone projects that address business challenges, ensuring participants gain impactful, hands-on experience. This includes orchestrating the final placement of early career talent upon completion of the early career program.
+ **Talent Acquisition and University Relations:** You’ll partner with the Talent Acquisition team to attract diverse, top-tier early career talent and expand recruitment efforts by strengthening relationships with key universities and trade schools and high schools in global markets, fostering a diverse pipeline for our Early Career Programs.
**SUPPORT BUSINESS-SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT NEEDS:**
+ You’ll collaborate within the T&OE team and with business and functional leaders on priority talent development needs.
**REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:**
+ 6+ years of experience in HR, Talent Management, or Organizational Development
+ Proven success in designing and leading Early Career Programs in a multi-region organization
+ Strong change management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple levels and functions.
+ Global mindset and evidence of leading and being successful in a multi-regional organization
+ Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
**PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:**
+ MBA or Master’s in Human Resources or Organizational Development, or related field.
