Context:

Within the Human Resources Department of the Global Energy Management & Sales BU of the Engie Group, you will join the Talent team as a "Learning & Development Specialist" on a permanent contract in Paris (ENGIE Tower).

 

The Talent team is staffed by 10 people between Paris & Brussels. There are 3 main services on offer:

- Talent Acquisition: in charge of recruitment

- Talent management

- Learning & Development, the aim of which is to develop employees' skills internationally (Europe, Asia, United States).

 

Role:

Reporting to the Head of People Development and Engagement, you will work within the GEMS HR team and will be responsible for defining and implementing training initiatives that promote employee development and engagement. As an L&D Specialist, you will be involved in various missions.

 

Learning & Development

Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development, develop and implement training programs, workshops and other learning initiatives. Ensure continuous improvement of learning programs based on feedback and changing business needs. Implement and manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track and report on training activities. Lead the overall development plan for the GEMS France scope: identification, planning, execution... including operational support: purchase orders, contact employees, monitor training files, receive documents and close sessions. Develop the necessary expertise within the L&D field and stay abreast of new trends and market offers. You create a network of external international suppliers who could support us with the creation of new global learning initiatives. Support the data and reporting activities for the different stakeholders, including budget. Measure the effectiveness and quality of the learning solutions and communicate the results to the management, the client and the HR community. Embody the link between GEMS and the international learning teams to find synergies and set-up collaboration (learning offer, events, ….).

 

Cross-functional projects or missions (illustrative, according to need): 

Animate workshops and create a new format of learning with topics that meet business needs. To be involved in HR projects within the department, such as creating an onboarding journey for managers. focused on the training aspect.

 

 

Hard skills:

An interest in creating didactic and attractive presentations.

- Be familiar with PowerPoint.

- Have a strong appetite for digital transformation and be interested in discovering new tools.

- Good knowledge of the training process.

 

Soft skills:

- Excellent communication and advisory skills for diverse stakeholders and at all levels of the organization

- Be proactive, well-organized and able to work with different subjects and priorities.

- Dynamic, committed and results-oriented.

- Autonomous and responsible for the projects given.

- Ability to manage several training projects at the same time.

- Capacity to adapt to a dynamic working environment and to evolve with the company's changing needs.

- Stress resilience

 

Education and professional background:

 

University or Business School degree, preferably a Master in HR Management, Business administration or related field

Proven experience with a minimum 5 years in HR in an international company and in a regulated environment.

 Languages:

Excellent written and oral command of English/French.
